Valentinos – HarborneVery relaxed atmosphere, with great food and service. Captures the royal traditions of Bangladesh in contemporary Birmingham.
BBQ Village – Birmingham City CentreThe world best restaurant ever in the world
Jyoti Vegetarian Restaurant – Hall GreenSome of the best vegetarian Chinese food I have ever tasted. Their beancurd rolls are out of this world, and as for the sizzling aubergine.... No problems with special requests, and staff are always pleasant, if a little harried.
Chung Ying Garden – Birmingham City CentreThe best Indian Food I have ever tasted..... Very Good Service.
Blue Mango – Birmingham City CentreThe best restaurant I?e ever been to. The curry that I tried was monkfish served with basmati rice, before I dug into it; my mouth was very watery just looking at it. Its atmosphere was outstanding.
Barajee – Birmingham City CentreThe food at this restaurant is very good but as soon as you have finished the waiters come and collect your plates very quickly. Even if the restaurant is empty, you still feel as though you are being rushed!
Balti Garden The – ErdingtonI was very impressed with the quality of the food in this thai restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the service was very professional; the staff were very friendly and professional, they always had a smile on their faces... that is what puts the icing on the cake for me when I go for dinner. The location is great as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone, particularly those who are unacquainted with Thai cuisine.
Thai Edge – Birmingham City CentreChaotic, bustling Chinese seating at least 300. Buffet style self service food with a range of at least 70 dishes. Some good interesting Chinese, Malay and Vietnamese dishes. Prices £5.95 lunch and £7.95 evening, Add on an extra £1 in the evening for sashimi. Great atmosphere, great food, great prices, but not the place to go for a quiet romantic evening.
Big Wok – Birmingham City CentreThis is a great restaurant that does great food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it is always busy showing it is a popular choice. However this can cause problems when it comes to the time u have to wait for your food because there are so many people there. Overall it is a lively and friendly place to eat with good food at reasonable prices.
TGI Fridays – EdgbastonA TRULY GREAT NIGHT IN A GREAT PLACE. FOOD AND WAITRESSES FANTASTIC. WOULD GO BACK
Thai Edge – Birmingham City CentreExcellent food, it? been some time since I tasted Indian meal like this. Service is good, and the good thing is they have disabled facilities, which was convenient for my son. Overall i liked this place, one to go and visit.
Basmati Restaurant – Great BarrBanu lies in Hagley Road. The staff there are very friendly and pandered to our needs faultlessly. The food was good although for me the menu was very small, perhaps this is because of a limited amount of kitchen personnel? The price for the starter was a little steep for tandoori king prawn as it was about five pounds and I got two king prawns cut in half with a little lettuce and a piece of tomato. The main meal was good, although I felt restricted because I wanted a hotter curry but the dishes on the menu were relatively mild. All in all though Banu was a good restaurant, if there was a more extensive menu then I'm sure it would be even better.
Banu Indian Restaurant – HarborneBalti Baxaar is an excellent restaurant to visit with friends and family food is very good and price is very inexpensive service is very good and friendly.
Balti Bazaar – StirchleyWe went to a buffet evening at the Jibali and found the food varied and extremely tasty. Highly recommend a visit.
Jilabi Indian Restaurant – SheldonBUFFET ISLAND HAD BEEN RECOMMENDED TO ME SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY IT OUT FOR MYSELF. I WENT TO THE LUNCHTIME BUFFET AND FOUND THE FOOD CHOICE TO BE VARIED AND EXCELLENT (PARTICULARLY AS I DO NOT EAT MEAT!) THE SETTING IS MODERN AND LIGHT. THE RESTAURANT IS VERY CLEAN AND THE AMBIENCE IS VERY RELAXED. I FOUND THE STAFF TO BE VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. AFTER THE MEAL I WAS THEN ABLE TO RELAX IN THE BAR AREA AND HAVE A DRINK. I ENJOYED MYSELF SO MUCH (AS DID THE COMPANY) I WAS WITH THAT WE INTEND TO VISIT AGAIN VERY SOON BUT IN THE EVENING THIS TIME. I CAN WELL RECOMMEND THE LUNCHTIME BUFFET BUT YOU HAD BETTER BE HUNGRY!
Buffet Island – ErdingtonDelicious food and great service... Always very busy so would recommend advance booking.. The Lasagne is to die for as is the Cannelloni - but lots to choose from and some lovely deserts too!
Pasta Di Piazza – Birmingham City CentreI fell that this is the best curry house in the West Midlands. The waiters are always on hand to wait on you. The food is outstanding and I now am a customer for life. Excellent!
