The Copper Pot – CardiganHave been a few times and the food is always delicious. The roti canai is awesome, the rotis sublime. Nasi Lemak was spot on and the whole sea bass a delight. Add a friendly and attentive server and it all makes for a very good lunch
Happy Lok – CardiffDisappointed with the afternoon tea supplied yesterday. No cakes, was not offered a cold drink and had to wait 3/4 hour for our meal. In the 'blurb' it stated cakes, but all we had was 2 very small chocolates and a biscuit. Definitely not worth £50
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffKookaba was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The burgers were cold, one of my pet hates is cold food!!! The buns were limp and soggy. We heard the waitress approach other tables to check if everything was okay, but didn't attend our table. We weren't offered any more drinks. Eating out isn't cheap these days and I appreciate restaurants are struggling, it's a real shame that a little bit more effort isn't made, to make the customer want to return and recommend to friends and family.
Kookaba Saundersfoot – TenbyDelicious food once again, cocktails very moorish , service was excellent..thank you
The Copper Pot – Cardiganlovely sandwiches, but we felt that considering the cost it was unfair to have to pay for a refill coffee.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffWe took mum here for mother's day. Such a lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. As a half malay/Welsh person it was so lovely to go somewhere that's truly authentic and beautiful tasting. And to not cook it ourselves, because you can't get this food really in other restaurants without it being westernised!! Definitely coming back!!
Happy Lok – CardiffVisited for Mother’s Day so had the Sunday lunch. Felt that £25 for the Sunday dinner alone and no other courses was very overpriced. Food was fine however did not feel this was close to value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The Inn At Rhiwderin – NewportVisited yesterday for the first time and it definitely won't be the last time. We enjoyed an Afternoon tea. The food was freshly made and of a high standard. The staff were friendly and approachable. Highly recommend
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffSecond time for afternoon tea. And it did not disappoint again. Fabulous. Best around. Love that you can choose your own sandwiches. Staff are so friendly, and go over the menu. Highly recommend will defo return!!
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffReally enjoyed our afternoon Tea, we were there for our Friends birthday treat and the staff were very accommodating with our request for a candle in a cake ! The sandwiches were lovely and tasty and scones were lovely. Could have been more choice on the slices of cake, but plenty of other cakes still to choose from.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffExcellent food, very good portions, value for money. Staff accommodating.
Kookaba Saundersfoot – TenbyLovely food. Big portions and good value for money. Friendly staff and a very relaxed setting. Would definitely recommend.
Kookaba Saundersfoot – TenbyLovely food and service. Absolutely love coming here for special occasions!
The Copper Pot – CardiganUsually I love this place but my latest visit I booked for a Mother’s Day treat for afternoon tea. It was busy and people were so close to us. Our order was wrong twice. Hot drinks were cold. Menu doesn’t have as much choice as it used to same as the cakes. We were not asked our preference of bread like we were previously asked at our other bookings here. We were made to feel a nuisance when asking for other drinks and saying our order was wrong. Unfortunately we will not be back after this experience
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffReally good food, very authentic & fresh. Menu was excellent & diverse. Staff were attentive & very friendly. Overall would recommend & will definitely be back.
Bangkok Cafe – CardiffVisited on the 28th of feb Great food great service what more can you ask for. Excellent. Can’t Waite to go back
Kookaba Saundersfoot – TenbyWe booked and it was a good thing as they were turning people away as they were full. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and the staff worked really hard and were very pleasant. We had a couple of cocktails the king prawn starter and the aubergine chilli and flat iron steak to finish we ordered the chocolate tart and Eton mess. Everything was well cooked and presented
