1176 Cardigan – CardiganWe visited the rivers edge as a family group yesterday for the first time We chose here after reading good reviews and decided to pay a visit for our 30 wedding anniversary dinner. The place was lovely and welcoming Is decorated in a lovely manner. Staff were helpful and friendly. The dinner was great! The meat was so tender and the veg was good. The dessert s were also beautiful. So I would definitely recommend a visit. There always has to be something to point out and for us parking is a bit of an issue at peak times. We had to resort to parking on a housing estate in the village and walk to the restaurant others parked on the country lane as no room in car park. Secondly as beautiful as the food was we waited around 40 minutes for it to come from kitchen to the table and desserts were also slow to arrive. But as I said previously I would definitely return as the food was beautiful
