A bacchanalia is a gathering of people eating, drinking, partying and having fun and Bacchanalia on Chapel Walks, just off Manchester’s bustling King Street, is where you will find just that. On the ground floor there is plush booth seating surrounding the large cocktail bar where you will find the fancy pants bartenders mixing and shaking some of Manchester’s best cocktails. As you would expect with Bacchus being the Greek god of wine, the extensive wine list caters for most people and most people’s wallets. On the first floor is the light and airy restaurant where you can watch the chefs preparing your food in the open kitchen. The food is of a modern British style but given a Mediterranean twist . The food is prepared fresh daily and there will always be a minimum of ten daily specials to choose from. When the weather decides to play ball you can eat alfresco on the outside terrace and watch the shoppers go by as you relax with a chilled bottle of wine. If it’s private hire you’re after then the amphitheatre on the second floor provides the perfect venue for private dining, birthday parties, Christmas parties or corporate hire for meetings, product launches and networking events. Room hire is normally free and menus, room layout and equipment hire are all very flexible.
