Absolutely fantastic experience. The service was faultless from start to finish – everyone was welcoming, friendly and very attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious.The atmosphere was warm and enjoyable, making it a really lovely place to spend an evening. I couldn't fault anything and would definitely recommend it.

Can’t praise this place enough.. the food is out of this world. The menu offers something for everyone. In my opinion it’s the jewel of Ashton Village! The staff are very efficient and make you feel so welcome. I’ll be returning - regularly!!!! I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

I absolutely love the pizza and chips... Keeps me going back

Not to usual standard. Unfortunately most recent visit was not to previous standards. The order was wrong, portion sizes and quality were poor, had to request side orders which came after everyone had eaten their meal. Overall a place where we loved to come has really disappointed. There were hardly any diners in yet food took a very long time also. 45 mins to be served food. The burger was tiny and bland with one tiny piece lettuce and no sauce. Chip were good, child’s means were tiny portion looked terrible. Waitress was lovely. Prob won’t be using as first choice anymore as last couple of times quality has gone down hill. Which is a shame. Definitely not value for money given prices charged.

Lovely meal with three friends. Booked online easily. Lovely warm welcome. Chose from the great value special 2 course menu. Good advice from staff on menu. Quick service. Excellent tasty generous portions. Great value. Would definitely choose to go again.

We came sunday 12th for my birthday There was 6 of us As usual food excellant serve too Been a few times now always lovely Plenty of choice for my two veggies too Drinks are a bit expensive but they always are in restaurants

This visit the food was not nice as usual cold soup to start with that had to be sent back, the stroganoff was not up to spec a few peaces of beef but mostly mushrooms so guess mushroom stroganoff with a few bits of beef thrown in sad really as we go often to there.

We’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, but L’Aquila is, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever been to. We happily travel from Westhoughton to Prestwich just for the food, and it’s worth every mile. The Ribeye Surf & Turf is hands down the best steak we’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavour. Every part of the dish is cooked to perfection, and you can really tell the ingredients are high quality. The service is always warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes every visit feel special. It’s rare to find a restaurant that’s consistently outstanding, but L’Aquila delivers every single time. If you’re looking for exceptional food, especially an unforgettable steak, we couldn’t recommend L’Aquila highly enough. It’s become our favourite restaurant, and we’ll keep making the journey back again and again.

From start to finish, the whole experience was flawless. If there was a blueprint on how to run a restaurant, L'Aquila would be a prime example. It was my wife's birthday, staff genuinely made it an important part of the evening. I have a crustacean allergy, the obvious allergen policy and procedures made me feel safe, especially as the rest of the family had prawn/shrimp in their starters or main course. The food was simply delicious. I had a fillet steak, I like mine medium rare. Unlike other establishments, the chef cooked the steak to perfection. All the staff were brilliant, they had a smile on their faces that seemed they genuinely enjoyed working for the business. I could go on and on, but you can obviously see how much we enjoyed eating at L'Aquila.
