Lovely food, very pleasant staff, reasonable prices. Will visit again

Sunday roast was amazing.

The family went for Sunday lunch. The service was very good and Sunday lunch was lovely. The roast beef and the turkey were perfect. A really enjoyable meal

We enjoyed ourselves on Saturday good food and good service

Food was fine but priced a bit on the high side for what it was. £17 for a roast, meat and veg ok but roast potatoes had been reheated. Also very noisy where we were seated, couldn’t really hear each other to talk. Not worth a return visit.

Went for Sunday lunch. The beef was very fatty for both of us, so couldn’t eat much of it. The roast potatoes were quite hard as well.. Staff are amazing and the place itself it great!

We are quite frequent visitors to this venue and booked for lunch for 4 people, Sat 26th.Aug 2023. As always, impressed from the minute you enter. Although somewhat outdated this adds to the 'charm' of The Vine. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and quick service at the bar which is invariably serviced by a familiar face - another positive that staff are maintained in situ. We're always impressed by the wide ranging and varied menu, it would surely be impossible not to find something for everyone either from the menu or specials board. Speedy service followed by the highest quality food and plenty of it. We chose 3 different starters and 4 different main courses but, good to see, everyones' meals were served at the same time. 2 from the party also managed desserts. Very well stocked bar, plenty of options for any taste. All things taken, service, food/drinks choices, quality, quantity and pricing, our overall view is that The Vine really stands out and above any similar venue in the locality. Highly recommended.....

Main (steak pie) was very nice. Look forward to the pudding but was disappointed (treacle sponge with ice cream) found it dry and hard, even with the ice cream. Left most of it. Wasn’t seated at the best of places a lot of traffic. But would return.

First time visiting for food, amazing food and staff were so accommodating and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us! We enjoyed it that much we’ve booked a meal for our daughters 18th birthday. Would highly recommend!!
