A little gem in Clent. One of the nicest Sunday dinners I've had in a long time. I had the Pork 10 out of 10. The staff and service both excellent. So worth a visit.

not up to normal standard..ordered rump steak Med to well done arrived in 2 pieces medium not cooked in middle sent it back..new steak arrived cooked to my requirements but only half the size of original steak.... ordered eton mess for desert unfortunately could`nt find the méringue... when we mentioned to waitress ..went back to chef answer from Chef Oh we are taking it off the menu !!!! this is not the usual standard for the old crown

Proper Sunday lunch at The Vine, which was as good as ever. Nice to be back.

Lovely food as always. We booked for 6pm on NYEs Eve so expecting it to be busy and quite quick. Service good but no break between courses. Literally sat down and ordered and starter came out straight away. The same with main. I asked for a break for dessert which was granted and better. Very quick turnaround with first two course and I don’t like to be rushed. Portion sizes good but would have liked more for the price but good quality food and wine and an enjoyable evening.l We were sat under the stairs and a bit cramped, initially issue with temperature and there was a cold blow from unit and then it went very hot in there but once spoken to waiter the heating was turned down and it was more bearable. Waiting staff pleasant and amenable. Shame we couldn’t stay and have a drink in the reception area.

Very accommodating, we were able to sit in the bar with our dog ,he was fussed over with treats and water whilst we had a Marve meal. Two of us had the Turkish borek vegan option and the other 2 had game pie and Korean chicken which they pronounced delicious. service was excellent and my hubby enjoyed the beer . Would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the New Year.

Could not fault anything about the restaurant, food, service, ambience were all excellent. Prices a little steep buts that's what you pay for today for quality. Will certainly revisit in the bear future.

Fabulous food as always I think it’s got to one of our favourite restaurants.

Came for a meal and drinks with a couple of friends to celebrate Christmas. The food was delicious and you could tell it was all homemade, chips were just like your mum made before frozen ones existed. Staff were lovely in particular a lady (can’t remember her name?) who was the life of the pub on what was a quiet night, she was so lovely and chatted to us for ages
