Kiln Workshop – BishopstonAnother lovely visit to Olive yesterday. Service is always great and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Highly recommend.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilWe booked online for a Sunday roast in the Bay at 6.15pm . You take bookings until 6.30pm. There was 4 of us. We all chose to skip straight to the roast mains. After a short delay they arrived along with the cauli cheese ordered. They were nicely presented. Sadly we all said the roast potatoes tasted like they had been sat around kept warm all day and were a little soggy. The roast beef was good , but the one pork meal was chewy and too thickly cut to cut up with the knife on the table We all enjoyed our puddings, but the most annoying part of the whole experience was that when we asked for coffees and aperetifs we were told the coffee machine had been cleaned out for the night and the bar was closed . This was 7.45 pm If you take bookings up until 6.30pm , why on earth would you not give customers time to have 3 courses ( we only had 2 ) plus coffees and drinks afterwards We were all very disapointed and as locals living in the village would feel it difficult to recommend the restaurant The waitresses were polite , so we did pay the extra 10% but felt the overall experience was a let down tbh.
South Sands Hotel – Weston-super-MareRock Salt is clean, light and airy. It is local to us and a nice place to socialise.
South Sands Hotel – Weston-super-MareMy wife and I had a first class dinner. The food was fresh and well cooked. Service was prompt and friendly. The seats are comfortable and the tables are not too close to each other. The price was reasonable. We recommend this restaurant.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsGreat place to eat - booking is so easy on line - service was efficient and timely, food different and very tasty . We had brunch, I had the French toast which was cooked perfectly and the rhubarb added a great flavour to the whole dish. Coffee was good too. My husband had the cooked breakfast and felt it lacked some moisture I.e tomatoes or baked beans but he still enjoyed it regardless. Feel this is a little hidden gem in Martock .
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely food. One of the best roast dinners I have had in ages. Beautiful surroundings and helpful and kind staff. What more could you ask for! Reasonably priced also. Would highly recommend
South Sands Hotel – Weston-super-MareNice breakfast,friendly attentive staff,lovely surroundings
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilWhat a lovely couple of hours spent in your restaurant - the special attention by the restaurant staff was great - very attentive and very aware. Nothing was too much trouble - excellent customer service from the two women. The food was very good and myself and my friend had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thank you
South Sands Hotel – Weston-super-MareAbsolutely delicious from start to finish! The food not only looked beautiful but tasted even better. The sweet dish was perfectly balanced rich and indulgent without being overwhelming, with the fresh berries and crunchy topping adding great texture and flavor. The savory dish was just as impressive, with fluffy scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked mushrooms, and fresh herbs bringing everything together on a crisp slice of toast. Everything felt fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. Paired with a nice coffee and tea, it made for a really enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be coming back highly recommend!

Union Street Brasserie – YeovilWhat an amazing restaurant! 18 of us came to Perdida for a team volunteering day at Ferne and the lunch was definitely a highlight! The food was absolutely delicious, there were clean plates all round, such an array of delicious food and drink to choose from and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be coming back!
Perdida at Ferne Animal Sanctuary – YeovilAmazing food. Very friendly and accommodating. Will be returning! :)
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFantastic thank you.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFabulous Sunday Breakfast. Delicious ingredients and a very friendly and warm welcome. Thank you - we will be back !!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilI love this place, first time I’ve been for Sunday Brunch. It was the usual friendly service, with quite a wait for our order, but it’s always a bit of a wait as food cooked fresh so fair enough. Would be nice if coffees could arrive a bit quicker though, so we could drink while we’re waiting.?? My breakfast was fine, but just not as exciting as lunches are here. Will be making sure I stick to lunch in the future
