Outstanding food, lovely chilled vibe. We will be back

My daughter treated me to lunch as it was a birthday treat. We both ordered the cooked breakfast, as that’s what we fancied my daughter didn’t want everything that was listed and asked if she could have extra items of what she did want , when it arrived there was nothing extra on it! My breakfast was also disappointing a hard fried egg, toast that was crispy ( I can only imagine the bread was stale ) not the best breakfast I have had and I was disappointed, however the staff were lovely and didn’t have a problem there , not sure if I would return for food , but possibly a drink as it’s a fab setting

We had a late breakfast on our visit with 3 adults and 4 children. We arrived early and the manager was very kind in making the table available early. The food and drink were lovely although a little staggered in how it came out. The food was very good. Eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly. The trout and eggs was exceptional. London prices though... Staff were attentive and friendly. They do need to print out their bills for the customer rather than just read it off their hand held. As it turns out there was an error in the bill which would have been missed if I hadn't have insisted on a printed bill. Interesting location, while it was a pleasant surrounding with an attractive garden, eating on an industrial estate, however well presented, was a little odd. That said, this is an excellent choice for breakfast in the middle of the countryside.

Sorry to leave this review but I was very disappointed on my recent visit. Normally I love this place, the staff have always been friendly and the food is lovely. On this occasion I had booked a table but on arrival was told if it was only for coffee they couldn't accept my booking as they were very busy and we could only have an hour. An hour was fine anyway but I felt rather unwelcome especially as there were many tables outside that were empty and they were still empty when we left an hour later. When our order was taken, our question about pastries being available was met with a short 'no'. I appreciate they were busy but this is the hospitality industry - I will leave it a while before going back.

Despite living locally this was our fist visit to Olive Kitchen We loved our meal and the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere There was a very mixed set of dining companions who looked happy We will come again and be sure to bring house guests for brunch

The food was exceptional,reasonably priced, and beautifully cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was our second visit to the restaurant .We will be back.Cant recommend it enough.

4 visit in the last 18 months and never disappoints. The menu is varied as is the drinks selection. Although I’m always drawn towards the poached eggs and avo with twists The staff, service and food were fantastic as always 10/10 Thank you Andrew

The Olive Kitchen is a hidden gem. Tucked at the back of small industrial estate, it provides a delicious menu and an iced mocha that is sublime. It's very rare that I find a menu where I could have eaten anything. I had the vegetable gyros and it was so good and plentiful - a full meal.

Very impressed with the recent improvements, both physical and new personnel who were extremely helpful throughout our visit, enjoyed our meals and drinks too.

Great lunch - delicious food, good service and lovely atmosphere. This is the third time l have visited The Olive and the standard has been consistently high . I will definitely be going back - soon!

Warm welcome. Good but not outstanding food and service.

We had Sunday lunch in the Bay Restaurant. Very good meal - one roast pork, one roast chicken. The roast potatoes could have been a bit crisper but that’s my preference. Portion size was huge. Service first class and staff were excellent so attentive and friendly. We will definitely go again as the Bay has a lovely atmosphere.

A wonderful afternoon tea. I highly recommend coming here. We came as two families of 4 ordering a mix of the afternoon tea, roast dinner and kids menu items. The staff were kind and very attentive. I must say the afternoon tea was such great value with the all inclusive drinks. We were incredibly envious of the roast dinner and will absolutely come again for that. Do come here the team wont let you down!

What a delight to return to the Olive for a celebration lunch which we had promised ourselves since our first visit not long after it opened. We were not disappointed as we found a welcoming, helpful staff and excellent food. Thank you.
