Four for lunch this week Welcome and table location were fine and no issues with starters Mains were a different story and really disappointing. Two orders each of traditional fish and chips and two hunters chicken. Fish recipients described their meal as really dry with almost inedible rock hard batter As for the hunters chicken , it arrived in a mass of congealed cheese stuck to the bottom of the plate wrapped in the fattiest bacon ( I know the fat has flavour but come on ! ) and the chicken itself was unbelievably dry ! Had all meals been sat under a heat lamp too long ? Was it the chef’s day off ? Used to go here regularly and not been for a while due to obvious reasons, and will not be going back !

I had a delicious roast chicken dinner followed by a Bakewell tart. The service was great and it was a very pleasant dining experience.

Booked at short notice and changed the time twice, this was no trouble and we were met with a friendly waitress who couldn’t do enough to help us and accommodate our requests. The Sunday lunch was one of the best I’ve ever tasted and the service was just as superb, we will definitely be back again soon THANK YOU

What can I say, it was absolutely lovely! Have been waiting for lockdown to end and for my daughter to have a bit of spare time to come and join me at The Salt Bar for lunch. Moved into the Macclesfield area a few months ago and this was the first restaurant on my hit list. We had delicious nibbles, really tasty open sandwiches and fantastic dessert. The staff were bob on and we found it more than reasonably priced. My sister-in-law is next on my invitation list - I just know she will enjoy it. You can't fail to find something to please on the menu. Really relaxing atmosphere too.

Food really good loved the Smorgasbord starter. I had the fishcakes which were nice too. I really like the interior of the restaurant, great atmosphere and the waiter was great.

Elmas never fails with their food, atmosphere or tentative staff, it is mine and my partner's most favourite restaurant of all times, hence why we keep going back. Elmas is absolutely outstanding in every way and we love it.

Just perfect from the food to the welcome you get each time you go. The attention to detail with Elmas goes through to their staff also. A superb restaurant that can not be faulted at all.

Absolutely love this place, ive been waiting for lockdown to be over so we could go! Food was fantastic as always for us its worth the 40 minutes drive.. Need to book again soon.

First time back since being open, good as ever! Food so nice, lively atmosphere, drinks nice, and what made it better , they now serve aperol spritz !

Lovely restaurant with lovely staff and food.

Amazing food. We ordered for take away due to the new tier restrictions and we were worried that it wouldn't be as good as eating in... but the food was incredible. They boxed it well so that all the dishes travelled well and were piping hot when we got to eat them at home. So happy we can still get our Sabrosa fix during lockdown!!

Lovely food and wine and great service .

I enjoyed the home made chocolate cake which was delicious The tapas were ok. As vegetarians there was a reasonable choice. However the tortilla could have been a bit fresher and a bit tastier. The croquettes were too gooey I would like to see more fresh veggie tapas such as spinach,patatas a la pobre,artichokes etc We enjoyed the evening nonetheless Ambience was nice though would have liked some candles on tables
