Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamWe had a beautiful lunch here recently, the food was outstanding and the staff we most welcoming to us and our young baby. It is quite unusual to find such a high quality restaurant that is also family friendly. Excellent value for money too.
Cock O’Barton – MalpasLovely food - excellent value. Looking forward to going there again tonight! - Top marks
Aroi-Thai – NantwichAbsolutely fab, food, service and staff can't wait to go back.
1851 Restaurant @ Peckforton Castle – TarporleyI enjoy dinning at Mr Chows I am a regular visitor there, but I have noticed many times after I ask for the bill you do not get an itemized receipt,I think it is most important so the customer can check his bill,I have no complaints with the service or food as the restaurant is very good and the staff are very friendly.
Best Chinese locally by far.... food and service 5*
Handforth Cantonese Restaurant – WilmslowRecently worked in Macclesfield and needed a sandwich and cuppa. Stopped by a cafe in a busy shopping centre and thought I would have to wait for a long time....everyone was commenting on how professional the girls were behind the counter and in the cafe. When I was served, I was asked if I wanted to stay in, which I chose to. The service was absolutely fantastic. The sandwich, which was very tasty, came with a fresh, good size portion of salad with a small portion of crisps. Lovely cuppa too. Excellent value. Don't normally write these things, but just had to say something about CoffeeBeans cafe.Well Done!
The Coffee Bean Cafe – MacclesfieldThe Dun Cow has recently been taken over by new management in July 2009. My husband and I expected good things as the same team and chef catered our wedding this year and all our guests raved about the food. We ate in the restaurant last night and the food was amazing. The quality, presentation and attention to detail made us feel like we were in a top restaurant, not a country pub. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The setting is a traditional, cosy pub, but the food is by no means pub grub - superb! We can't wait to go again and take our friends and family. Good work Barry and Marc.
Dun Cow – KnutsfordWe have eaten in this pub fairly frequently, and went for tea last night. Sadly the standards are not as high as they were, my steak was rare instead of medium, steaks now come as just steak & chips with half a tomato and a small mushroom, no salad or vegetables, but there's no reduction in the price! Our children had the Ham and Eggs, which used to be a thick slice of hand carved ham with a fried egg and chips and peas, the ham we got last night was clearly pre-sliced processed ham, again, the drop in standards was not reflected by a reduction in price. Over all, I don't think I would recommend The Hinderton Arms as highly as I used to, which is a great shame.
Hinderton Arms – ParkgateFantastic place... staff amazing... food incredible ... Go there. We had one of the 2 people platters - what tasty treats . The service is great, someone takes your drinks and escorts you to your table, the table service was impeccable and then retired to the lounge for after dinner drinks. No rush to leave and ended staying for several hours. A delightful place.
Pesto at Cabbage Hall – TarporleyABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!!!!!! BEWARE STAY AWAY. DELIVERED COMPLETELY WRONG ORDER, AND IT WAS COLD WHEN WE RANG UP WERENT INTERESTED WAS MEANT TO SEND OUT COMPLETE ORDER AGAIN BUT AFTER WAITING A FURTHER 3 HOURS STILL NO FOOD!!!! MANAGER OF THE SHP ALSO WASTE OF SPACE!! DONT WASTE UR TIME I LOST £20!!!!!
Carlos Pizza – RuncornWe eat at Sindh at least once a month and would highly recommend it. Its small, very friendly and the food is excellent. Great for a celebration or just a meal for two.
Sindh Indian Cuisine – WarringtonI had a meal with my wife and another couple on the evening of Saturday 24th October and I'm afraid to say it was a hugely disappointing experience. Our last visit was prior to the Mooney's acquisition of the restaurant. My wife and I both had the Black pudding starter, which (according to the menu would be accompanied by home-made curried apple chutney. The black puddings were tasteless, the potato was also tasteless and cold and the apple sauce was clearly out of a jar with not the merest hint of curry or chutney. For main course I had Sea Bream, which arrived (a single, small fillet) with four 'dabs' of what was supposed to be a type of ratatouille - pathetic at £13.95! After the meal we asked which malt whiskies were available. There was Glenmorangie and Glenfroaig - the waitress also told us that they had Grants and Bells - so clearly she didn't understand what a 'malt whisky' was. We declined and asked for Port instead. The waitress returned to advise that they didn't have any. I raised my dissatisfactions, privately and discretely with the manager - Stuart. He advised that there was no demand for malts or port? When we received the bill (which was in excess of £160 for the 4 of us) he had taken a total of £7.50 from it. I wouldn't recommend the Duke of Portland to anybody.
Duke Of Portland – NorthwichYet again, another absolutely fantastic meal! The Hatton Arms is a lovely pub/restaurant with a friendly and professional service. Great selection of both food and wine - so good, we went back again the next night with friends. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone.
The Hatton Arms – WarringtonWe love this chinese buffet its very cheap and cheerful. Very Polite staff including the manager You can have what ever you want from the buffet for just 9.00 per head ( Not Including Drinks) i highly recommend Mr Fu`s restaurant if your a great chinese lover like ourselves
Mr Fus Restaurant – NorthwichThe chef has left this restaurant and can't you tell. David Mooney who has built a great reputation for this restaurant is no longer behind the stove at the Belle Epoque and I think you can tell both in the quality of the food and in the attitude of the staff. Not a good dining experience.
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordOnce a month I and a party of 7 friends visit different Indian Restaurants near and far but we always judge them against the Bombay which for us is the very best around. My personal likes are the hot dishes in particular their excellent Vindaloo.
Bombay Restaurant – CreweThe food is excellent at Chopstix - freshly cooked, and you don't get that horrible morning after MSG taste in your mouth! However, expect to pay more than average (which is fair given the quality of the food) and beware - the waiters will ply you with alcohol!!
Chopstix – Nantwich40% off a bottle of house wine every Wednesday.
