Plough and Flail Inn The – Knutsfordworst experience of service and food for a long time waited over 1 hour for a salad and a gammon dish came cold so sent back only for it to be microwaved could understand if busy but this was at 5 pm and only a handful of people where eating did get a complimentary bottle of wine for the experience you may not put this on the site but please feel free to pass on to the miners arms as they need to get there act up and running will go back for a drink only completely put off the food side of things.
The Miners Arms – Macclesfieldjust found this after reading a local paper, super place, great with teenagers loved the 60s jukebox, food is great best in Chester apart from all the popular diner style burgers, and loads of other stuff, international specials brilliant fresh made Thai curry, guys ( gay ) are great as are rest of staff and used to live in far east so food for me was top. missus had Sardinian seafood stew with garlic bread, boys had huge hand made burger stacks with bacon/cheese and huge thick fries go see how good this place is deserves awards
Blue Moon Cafe – Chestermarvellous meal, with friendly staff & food to die for!! Looking forward to our next visit.
Delgados – WarringtonExcellent food and service, it always seems to be busy so if you have to travel a distance it may be advisable to ring first.
Don Luigi – WarringtonWe went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, absolutely wonderful the food and the staff were so helpful would highly recommend a visit.
1851 Restaurant @ Peckforton Castle – TarporleyWe found a lovely homely place in picturesque countryside to enjoy an incredibly delicious home made hot meal and a sandwich and a pot of tea. The scones are the best I have had and the price and service is very good. A great feeling sat next to the wood fire burner. Thank you, I will definitely come back again and again and cannot wait for the sunshine to sit on the tables outside and enjoy the beauty surrounding this place. I will be recommending to my friends and family.
Coffee Tavern The – MacclesfieldBest Indian restaurant in Ellesmere Port and even in Cheshire. I try to go as often as possible. Staff are so friendly and hilarious. Teatime specials are a bargain. Highly recommended, again, don't be put off by location. Parking available just round the corner or make it a good night out and get a taxi!!
Light Of India – Ellesmere Porti have been to this traditional fish and chip shop on more than a couple of occasions everytime i ve always been served by helpful energetic staff only to willing to help you and most of all you are greeted on your arrival wouldn't go anywhere else . This is the place to be on a Friday tea time
The Codfather – Northwichvery very nice spot on enjoyed the food and my family in law Restaurant has been award best Indian in Vale Royal which is a pretty good and i would agree with this so people try this Indian and get back on this am sure you will not be disappointed
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamI have eaten here on a number of occasions since moving to the area and can not fault the food at this restaurant at all. It is freshly cooked, tastes delicious and there is a wide choice for the most discerning of diners. It isn't too expensive either. The only thing i can fault the restaurant is that on busy occasions service can be slow and sometimes you have to wait a while for the table to be free. My advice is to book and arrive early!
Casa Brasserie at The Crown Hotel – NantwichNice coffee house, serves well presented light lunches, around a fiver for sandwich plates, salads, toasted ciabatta's etc. Free coffee refills. Homemade cakes.
Coffee Traders – MacclesfieldI've never been anywhere with such terrible service. On more that one occasion too. The first time I thought we were just unlucky so when a friend chose this venue for a birthday I went along again. We waited well over an hour for our starters, this was the time from ordering, not from sitting down. Barely an apology from the waiter. Finally, it arrived, apart from my husband's which they had forgotten about. Eventually we finished after 11pm, we arrived at 7.30pm. It even took ages to pay! Then the waiter threw a strop because we didn't tip - he really was quite rude - unbelievable.
Pizza Express – MacclesfieldVisited the restaurant on Friday 13 March for a friend's celebratory graduation lunch. Very pleased that the baby change facility was in the ground floor disabled toilet so avoided struggling upstairs with baby, bag etc. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. The food was spectacular! Chicken salad was delicious and baby (16 mths) ate most of the chicken & bacon, but as there was plenty meat in the dish, I sampled what was one of the best Entrees I've had in a long time! The whiting on the lunch menu was replaced by seabass, which was delicious, the whole meal was cooked to perfection. Followed by warm apple & pear crepe with Chantilly cream - exquisite! Every meal at the table was thoroughly enjoyed (7 meals) and under £9 for 2 courses was a fantastic price for an experience of food excellence. Will definitely return and can't wait!! This restaurant should be categorised under "fine dining" because that is what you will receive.
Chez Jules – ChesterTraditional Indian restaurant.not too large A size so it remains that personal touch.great meal and should be enjoyed by all
