Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamFab roast dinner, the closest to my mums! Great size portions, piping hot too! Cosy friendly little pub. Will definitely be returning!
Boot and Shoe – NantwichWent in Feb 2008. Lovely meal, the best Chinese I have had for a while! Excellent service, very friendly. The tea time special, great value. Could not fault anything. highly recommend!
Friendly staff, above average service and good food is what we found. Dishes were just as they were described and very enjoyable, although our steaks were on the rare side of how we ordered them. It wasn't even too loud at the height of the evening, and this on a Saturday night.
Moules A Go-Go – ChesterSo you're driving through the real ale wilderness in South Cheshire. Past plastic themed eateries with the same menus anywhere in the country. Worse still you drive past abandoned boarded up country pubs ripe for redevelopment,it says on the for sale board, demolition, new homes, anything but a pub. You drive into a little village just off the A41, what do you see, yep another boarded up pub, but wait look to your right, no it's not a mirage, it's The Carden Arms in Tilston, sitting there defiant, real ales, good food, friendly service, decent beer, that's right everything we hold dear to. No ostentatious fancy new bar stools or overpriced fare, just a good old fashioned warm welcome, varied menus, great value mid-week specials, fishy Fridays, steak Sunday evenings, you name it, all great value for money and good to eat, I know sampled more than a few. Get yourself along there and enjoy a "proper" country pub with something for everyone. The Carden Arms, a beacon of light shining through the corporate dross. Don't miss it.
Carden Arms – MalpasFirstly, we had to beg for service even drinks. We waited for well over half an hour before anyone came to take our order for food or drinks, we then waited a further 45 mins for our starter. I had the oxtail which was completely tasteless. The fish cakes were nearly cold -just about passable. Two of our party had the halibut which was overcooked tasteless and lukewarm, and the duck wasn’t much better. I had the lobster which was just okay. When we finished each course, we sat for at least 45 mins before anyone came to clear the plates we literally had to keep flagging someone down each time to clear the table and if we wanted a drink because no one came to the table to ask us if we wanted anything. One of our party had the apple pie which was micro waved soggy and looked like it had come out of a Mr. Kipling's pack. I asked for blackcurrant and lemon sorbet and got ginger and mango When I flagged this up to the waitress she lost her temper and told me this was what I had ordered when it clearly wasn’t and she was fed up and going to get the manager. When someone finally came I said forget it because I just couldn’t be bothered anymore all we wanted to pay the bill and go home (and it was after 11pm by this time). We also had coffee which again was lukewarm We were polite at all times so couldn’t understand why the waitress was so aggressive towards us. So all in all this was one of the worst meals we have ever had.
Belle Epoque – Knutsfordwe went to bollicini last friday the food was terrible, although the restaurant was full. The service was just has bad,a rude waitress insisted that the service was so bad because of the shortage of staff. The toilets was dirty and looked unattended we returned our food and asked the waiter for a clean plate. The glass was dirty and also replaced. I have been here before and enjoyed it but i believe the standards have dropped so much i wouldn't recommend it again theres lots of better restaurants in chester to choose from
Bollicini – ChesterI have been here on numerous occasions and cannot fault the food, especially the sunday roast which is the best I have had in a pub restaurant. Staff are always courteous and helpful.

Don Luigi – WarringtonMe and two of my friends went here on a whim on Monday night 25th Feb and it was really worth it! Light Of India – Ellesmere PortWent here at the weekend and would recommend to anyone. Ordered our food and it came out within minutes and it was delicious. You need to book a table as they were turning people away at the door and it was only 7:30!
