Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamWe were regular visitors to this establishment until a few months ago. The early diner menu has always been good value for money & the quality & presentation of food pretty good. The staff have a thing or two to learn about customer service & despite visiting on a weekly basis, we never received a friendly greeting giving any indication that we were regular clients. That wouldn't put us off though. So why have we stopped going ? Basically, the attitude of the owner/manager. We believe in giving credit where it's due & good food & service equates to a decent tip at the end of the meal. Equally, if the food/service isn't up to scratch, the tip would be calculated accordingly. On a last visit, which wasn't up to the usual standards, a tip of around 10% was accepted by the manager with a rude comment along the lines of "is that it". I'm afraid "that is it" as far as we're concerned. At least until the pub changes hands !
George and Dragon – Holmes ChapelFabulous food, friendly staff. Generous portions, great value for money. Once you've been you'll want to keep going back for more.
Helter Skelter – FrodshamI am very much looking forward to going for one of my best friends sixteenth on Thursday! I have heard excellent reviews about it and i will let you know how it all goes!! MY LOVELY ACE GANG SHOULD READ THIS!! HA Thanks very much Marronno doesn't like bouma!!
Nice food and atmosphere but very rude service from the manager. Won't be eating here again!
Ristorante Italia – BebingtonAvoid this one like the plague, long wait, warm beer, poor service, poor food. Never again.
Cinnamon Lounge – WarringtonWe`ve been regulars at Da Pieros for about 2 years since moving to Irby. It`s our all time favourite and that includes Italy! The restaurant is run and owned by husband and wife team Dawn and Piero. Piero is the only chef and Dawn runs front of house with a lovely welcoming unobtrusive style. At the end of the night Piero comes down from the kitchen to say hello. A great chance to pick up some tips too. Our 4 year old Grandson nearly always accompanies us and is now a bit of a celebrity with Dawn and her staff. He loves it of course. The food is the best flavoured Italian food we`ve ever tasted. It is consistently good too. You will never have an ordinary plate of food at Da Pieros because Piero is so precise in his cooking. Everyone we have taken to Da Pieros are now regulars which says it all really. Try it, I guarantee you won`t be disappointed.
Da Piero – IrbyFantastic food and atmosphere. Staff are very attentive
Crewe Hall – CreweI have just been to delgados recently and have to say that the new owners have really done it justice, the staff are wonderful, the food is great and the new chef Robert was very helpful and even gave me some recipe ideas!!
Delgados – WarringtonVery rude, we were overcharged for wine. It was taken off manager was very abrupt. we complained about the service charge which was put on £20 (for 7 people)as food had been late and one member of the group was served prawns in her dish despite being told it was not prawns. We were told that we were the only table that had complained and not to bother coming back.
Sopranos – WarringtonWe ate here after Chester races and had a fantastic meal for two. Although we were nearly an hour early we were seated with a drink and menu straight away. The menu choices are outstanding and the prices aren't as high as you'd expect. We had oysters, followed by three courses each, 3 peroni's, 1 bottle of water + tip was £80. Best lamb I've ever tasted as well. The full menu is on there own website. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
1539 Restaurant and Bar – ChesterFour of us ate here on Saturday 6th September 2008. The service and food were excellent (despite the fact they had a wedding party booked in). I would have no problems in recommending this restaurant to anybody. It was probably the best meal I have had for years. Well done Peruga!
Peruga At Woodheys – MarpleMy son and I visited Vindaloo last Thursday, and was very impressed. Food was excellent, with the bonus you can take your own drink.
Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonBest chinese restaurant by far,the food is excellent and Jack and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. Cannot wait to go back, quality Chinese food and very highly recommended.
Handforth Cantonese Restaurant – Wilmslowdrink eat and be merry....always found these went together particularly at the hollybush.....food consistently good, pleasant atmosphere and good sense of fun......will be back.......x x
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachVery pleasant visit the other Sunday. The slow cooked lamb was delicious and I certainly don't mind paying slightly more if I'm to receive food of this quality! The live band - Three Point Turn - kept everyone entertained with their jigs and reels. Strongly recommend this place.
Duke Of Portland – NorthwichMy family have dined there several times. The new owners have definitely improved the atmosphere and the service. The food remains fantastic, the prices are very reasonable and I would definitely return. They even do childrens birthday parties, there was one on when we were there with our grand daughter. They have highchairs and are very child friendly. We enquired about a function and they told me that they have a function room upstairs which is free. An overall good place.
Giovannis – CreweI have been to lot of Indian restaurants but the Sahib is the one for me. The cousin is perfect as it is very authentic as Indian's have their food at their own home. Can't fault the service as they are very polite and pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
