You can't get any better than this,clean,warm,friendly and no loud music.A pub where you can talk and laugh and invite friends of all ages and come away feeling good.The fish and chips are to die for !!

Great place to chill, coffee and cakes YUMMY.Staff so pleasant and welcoming. Dogs allowed outside. Gemma and Holly love visiting too. x

I love the Duke of York Romiley. I am a regular as its a nice friendly atmosphere and we always feel welcome. it is a very clean up to date pub.

The Old Fire Station is a small bistro seating about 30 people.Situated on the High Street just across from a free public car park.Very efficient and friendly staff.Food is excellent with a wide choice including veggie dishes. Prices are reasonable, about £6-£7 for a main at lunch time and less than £10 in the evenings. Ideal for those days when you just don't want to cook and don't want to spend a fortune. Good honest food.

We are regular users of the Peacock and find the food always good no matter what we choose from the menu.Staff are very efficient and friendly.

Didnt enjoy this place, waitress spent most of her time outside smoking, food wasnt great either for the price we paid

Having no shortage of Indian restaurants , Widnes has several good ones , one in particular has topped our chart with flying colours. This is Vatikka on Widnes road , Widnes , Cheshire .The food is by far the finest I've tasted and the service is faultless. Helpful , friendly and accommodating . This has become a regular place that we dine out at . We would highly recommend it . We have taken several friend there and they have also recommended their friends . Vatikka also does a tapas style starter menu along side their regular menu . Mains are out of this world . English meals are available also . You won't be disappointed .

Excellent food service an staff, not your normal spirit/punch pub, far better!!!

We've just ordered take out from Vindaloo and it was honestly the worst curry I have ever tasted! The service in the restaurant must be absolutely world class, because that's the only way to explain all the positive reviews.. Either that, or none of these people have ever eaten a decent Indian before. I resent paying a penny for it.

A regular customer of this bistro, I've never had anything other than a really good meal. The presentation, the staff, the prices, the welcome and the food all excellent. Whenever I have friends staying I know that I can book this restaurant with confidence and everyone I have taken there has been impressed. The owners work hard and deserve the success. My only regret is that too many people are getting to know it and it gets harder to book in.

I visited Dingle Farm for the first time a few days ago. It was a lovely experience the coffee and cakes was first class. The arts and crafts are lovely and competitively priced. I will be going back.

This restaurant is just so good that I have no idea where you could find better food. And so reasonable on price! The house red is a bargain as well.

After having a recent meal with you at your pub I am more than sorry to say the meal was not upto it usual standard.

I recently dined here for Sunday lunch and I have to say how delighted I was with the, not only the delicious food but the staff as well. They were very attentive and helpful! We will be back!
