Delicious meal, we all enjoyed our various choices of lamb, pork and monkfish. Perfect size portions and lovely presentation. Staff very attentive, polite and well trained. Will be back.

Our second visit here and this time we stayed for two nights and ate in the Music Room on both evenings. The food is excellent and the dishes we ordered were a great combination of local ingredients, perfectly cooked with the added bonus of a great bunch of warm and welcoming staff. A perfect place to have dinner.

On arrival, the pub was very busy and there was lots of hustle & bustle. We told the barman we had a table booked & he asked us to wait & went off to check. We then saw chairs being carried from the main bar area to a side room. A few minutes later we were told to follow him to our table. Which, on reflection, we think was hastily set up. Against a door in a side room with not much space to move. Menus were put in front of us the the drink order was taken. Drinks were brought to us, and then a few minutes later, someone came to ask if we were ready to order our food. I said I would start with , were I was interrupted and told that starters weren't being served & had no one told us. Well obviously not! In the same room their was five young boys and because of the close proximity we could hear them swearing all the time they were chatting. Although the food was really good were we were disappointed about the seating and not being informed there was no starters available.

Fabulous food. Lovely staff, efficient, friendly service. Great value for money, too. We will definitely be back.

Food and atmosphere were amazing

Fantastic afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches, scones and other delicacies. Unlimited tea and coffee. Served with glass of Prosecco. Friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings. Our first visit and will definitely be back soon.

Had lunch after using the spa on 10th January. The weather was cold and wet but the only 3 main courses available were all cold dishes; ploughmans lunch, caesar salad with chicken and one other. On a winters day it really would have been nice to have at least one hot dish choice.

Excellent food and service, as for our visits before the lockdowns. The Sunday roasts were a real treat.

You will not find a better roast dinner anywhere. Faultless. Staff also very welcoming and professional.

Brilliant as always, food took a little longer than normal to arrive but the restaurant was very busy so it was expected. Top quality food and service. Best Italian in town.

Food and service was excellent, would recommend and for me the bonus was I could have everything gluten free with all the same taste!

8 of us went to the Pheasant Inn for an evening meal.We received a very warm welcome from the staff. Food was lovely I had the Fish Pie it was gorgeous. Would definitely return

Fabulous food and wine… something for everyone

The family celebrated my daughter's 50th birthday on 7th January. We all enjoyed the food. Very good service. Served by pleasant and helpful staff. We all enjoyed our evening dinner at the Netherwood Hotel.

Tasty food well prepared and cooked to perfection. Very friendly and welcoming staff and clientele. Recommended, book at your next opportunity.
