Went for special Birthday. What a treat! The starter, mains & dessert were first class/absolutely delicious for all of us. The service was also excellent. Would definitely recommend & will be back :)

Pheasant Inn – KeswickHad yet another fab meal in this lovely cosy bustling pub. The staff were really friendly and efficient, the portions were very generous and the quality of the food was excellent. Great atmosphere in the pub too.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickTasty food and good service.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereBeautiful fresh Thai food by Bea. really enjoyed by all in our group, and fabulous service . We will be back and recommend
Kings Arms – UlverstonWe had a really lovely meal at Lewis's Bistro. The scallops were a particularly tasty starter and we both enjoyed the lamb & cod loin for mains. I had sticky toffee for dessert which was generous in size and delicious! My partner had the cheese board which came beautifully presented with a good selection of crackers and accompaniments. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Overall, I would recommend for a lovely, relaxed meal in Grasmere.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereSpa was very nice but the changing rooms left alot to be desired as not separate cubicles showers not private either you could see everyone and everything not my idea of private. Then when we went for the food there was no one to help where we should go when we did ask we were put in the lounge for our afternoon tea and not in the dining room where you would expect to eat as there is wonderful views. The food its self was ok but I won't be rushing back
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsExcellent food, generous portions, very attentive staff couldn't do more for us and a lovely atmosphere. Make sure you book early to experience this delightful pub. *****
Pheasant Inn – KeswickGreat food & service
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithJust got back from a wonderful overnight stay. We had previously lunched at The Wheatsheaf which was fabulous, so we couldn’t wait to sample dinner It didn’t disappoint, excellent food (portions are on the large side, so be warned), great selection of beers and wines. Service was excellent too The hotel room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and the shower was great too. Breakfast was just amazing. Lovely fruit platter to start and then a full English breakfast using quality ingredients. Wonderful toast and jam to finish off. They even made us an extra pot of tea for our flask as we were heading off for a walk. 5 star service! Thank you
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeMatt and his team were extremely accommodating in making my daughter’s 18th meal a great success. The service and food were amazing!

Pheasant Inn – KeswickBooked on line one day acknowledgment received very quickly, had an excellent meal with excellent customer service. Considering his far away we live and for This is our third visit and can’t recommend the restaurant enough,.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFive of us really enjoyed lunch at the Wheatsheaf yesterday. Warm environment, warm welcome, lovely food, extensive menu. Well done.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeBooked a spa and afternoon tea for my daughter and myself through Travel zoo. This is the second time we have been. The Netherwood property is stunning inside and out, if you like older properties. The Spa……… clean and spacious, except for the changing rooms. No individual cubicle to change in, which a lot of people may prefer. See through glass at shower cubicle, could maybe have frosted glass? Some lockers did not work when trying to lock them. Perhaps piped music in the spa room would be nice and relaxing to listen to, and a few magazines to flick through whilst laying on the loungers? Just suggestions. Restaurant……. Very comfortable and spacious. Afternoon tea was delicious and very filling. The gentleman behind the bar was extremely pleasant, despite being rushed off his feet, Payment only by card. Definitely recommend.
