This was our first time at Lewis Bistro, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was fairly quiet, but for a Thursday evening out of season, I guess that could be expected, but the atmosphere was still very warm and welcoming, and we will definitely be back.

Woodstone Pizza & Flame Grill – KeswickOur meal at Lewis’s bistro was absolutely gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and we didn’t have to wait for too long before the meal arrived. The only thing was it felt quite cold in the bistro maybe there was a problem with the heating? But we will happily return in the future.

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWhat a fantastic experience The Wheatsheaf at Beetham was. In a beautiful village lies this little gem of an establishment you simply must visit. If you want the best Sunday roast dinner you could ever wish for. Served to you by the most attentive and obliging staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. What a delightful place this is. It’s one of those places you want to keep a secret for yourself but to do so would be an injustice to the people that put the hard work in to making this experience. Dog friendly as well for those that have furry friends.

The dining area is always clean and maintained to a good standard. This restaurant is suitable for all occasions and the food is to a high standard yet, reasonably priced. No doubt we'll be back again in the near future.
