Another lovely meal at Lewis’s

The meal was delicious, there was 3 of us in are party and everyone enjoyed what the had, it has to be the best Italian meal I have had , excellent service and friendly staff. Only wish I lived near as I would make it a regular place to eat. If ever am back over that way I will definitely eat there again.

Dinner at Lewis’ was the best meal we had in Grassmere. The MOST delicious scallops I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and a really pleasant ambience . If you’re Covid concerned tables feel a little close together Thank you

Delicious food and service was very friendly. Only marred by the 10pm lights-on as a signal for the diners to finish up and leave, which was a tad on the harsh side, given our 8:30pm seating.

Cannot recommend Lewis’ Bistro highly enough. Food, service and attention to detail was fantastic and we were made very welcome. What a gem to find this fabulous restaurant in Grasmere - really made our stay in the glorious Lake District.

Two of us ate a really tasty dinner at Lewis's Bistro. The food and service were excellent and it turned out to be by far the best of several meals in Grasmere during a short stay. The food was clearly freshly sources and cooked to order and there was a friendly service atmosphere. The cheese board was particularly notable.

VEGANS & VEGETARIANS BEWARE !!! When ordering our vegetarian order we found out THAT ALL THEIR FRIED FOOD WAS COOKED IN THE SAME OIL AS THE FISH and as was we pointed out to the seemingly uninterested manager and fuming manager that this is not written on the menu to warn all vegans and vegetarians that their chips, sweet potato fries or anything that needed to be fried were in fact not the real real deal The manager was rude and clearly couldn't be bothered and in fact was so rude that he tried desperately to make us feel uncomfortable after complaining which didn't succeed as we just laughed because he reminded us so much of Basil Fawlty from Fawlty towers, but that aside this is a very serious matter indeed and needs to be addressed URGENTLY!!!!!

You have to book on line if you want to make sure you get a seat. Food fantastic, I have food intolerances but they made me a brilliant meal the belly pork you must try slow cooked for 8 hours.

Excellent restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. I ate a Lemon chili chicken fajita and it was divine. We were a party of 8 and everyone loved their food. Note - the desserts are ginormous so you may want to share if your kids opt for them.

A lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly, welcoming and provided excellent service. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection. Next time we're in Grasmere we will definitely book a table, many thanks to the team at Lewis's for a memorable experience!
