I had sunday lunch and my wife had vegetarian meal, both were very good with good and friendly service

Had a lovely meal at Lewis’s bistro. Friendly staff, made a real fuss of our dog which was nice. Food was excellent - husband had lamb and I had fillet steak. Wonderful. Quite expensive but fine for a one off treat

Excellent, this was our first visit and won’t be our last. Nice friendly atmosphere, didn’t realise that you could take your dog in, so ours will be included in our next visit.

Absolutely fantastic again, Staff exceptional food Freshly cooked and excellent. Menu was not extensive but were fortunate to have such it fantastic local inn.

Lovely meal (Fish and Chips) and a lively environment with a warming fire nearby. The atmosphere was excellent. The staff were very pleasant.

I often choose Mezzuluna as a place I like to go to eat. the staff are always friendly. helpful and welcoming. The dining area is always clean and maintained to a good standard. This restaurant is suitable for all occasions and the food is to a high standard yet, reasonably priced. No doubt we'll be back again in the near future.

Second visit and food remains of a good standard. However it’s a bit lacking in atmosphere. Tables in line with the door tend to be a little on the cool side

We received a voucher for christmas and before receiving the voucher had no idea Augill castle existed despite passing it frequently on the A66. But what a beautiful tranquil place it is. Booking was easy, parking plentiful. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table in front of a log burner which was perfect on a gray cold day. We were offered tea or coffee quickly followed by delicious fresh cakes and savory bites served with amazing French onion soup. Overall we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended and will be returning to stay.

This was our second visit to Lewis’ Bistro and again the meal was absolutely fantastic. The food is superb and restaurant has a lovely friendly atmosphere. This is now one of our favourite places to eat in the Lakes , and we will definitely be returning on our next trip.

Restaurant first night opening. Had to eat with my coat on it was so cold In the Restaurant. Food was reasonable service was good.

Fabulous food. It's the first time in 10 years I have had gluten free fish and chips, it was a real treat. Great atmostphere, will definitely be eating at the Wheatsheaf again - thank you.

Food was good, some of the staff could smile a bit more and the menus could be better laid out. Also not enough light in restaurant.

Excellent food, beer and service

Delicious afternoon tea in a perfect setting. So cosy by the fire on a windy day. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lauren was a great help during the booking process.
