I have eaten here more times than I can remember. I just love it because it's in a great location and the atmosphere is great you feel like you are on holiday especially when its sunny and the view is superb on a clear day. plus the prices are so reasonable.
Wellsprings Inn Pendle Hill – ClitheroeDined at the weekend, WOW!! A fantastic new menu so innovative, fresh and just amazing. We were told the chef had changed and you could tell, congrats to him! The chick pea burger was yummy, and the whole fresh fish of the day (bream) was the best fish i've had in a long time! I think this new chef is about to put Darwen on the map!!!
Springbank Manor – DarwenVery, very ordinary. A Gordon Ramsey check--out is needed here. Garlic bread too soft. Pasta overcooked and completely covered with a basic sauce. The soup was over-laden with a vinegar taste. Tony piece of monk fish at a high price. Very naff condiments on the table. Had to ask for parmesan cheese! Waiters very pleasant but untrained. No surprise the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday evening. The management needs a wake-up call.
Marcos – Lancasterwe have been to truffles twice and both times the food was excellent. this restaurant doesn't seem that well known, i can't think why, as the food and venue is great.

Parmesan And Pepper – Chorleycalled at tinos after my daughters graduation and would highly recommend this as one of the best italian restaurants ive been to this would get 4 aaaa in my books sorry its to far to come to from oldham service /food/restaurant/excellent
Tinos – PrestonWent there last night and a a lovely meal, although it was unusually busy for midweek owing to the plethora of Teachers dining there after the end of term break up! Despite waiting 10- 15 mins our table staff were polite, warm and courteous and i could not fault the food TIP- Try the Sardinian Pasta
Alghero – ChorleyTop class food, Top class service - Top class restaurant !!! Will definitely be back and have spread the word !!! Its nice to have a beautiful restaurant at long last near Leyland
Trattoria San Marco – PrestonExcellent Steak and kidney pudding with a lovely House Rose. Service was very good from the very young front of house staff.
Clog and Billycock – BlackburnSuperb restaurant, cannot recommend it highly enough! Menu choice is fantastic as are the specials. Brilliant for a celebration with a large group or with a partner. Would advise to book Fri/Sat as does get very very busy.

Frankie and Bennys – MorecambeEtnas holds a special place in our hearts - we had our first real date here - we always enjoy visiting, the staff are 1st class professionals without being too over the top - the owner is a true delight always willing to chat to all the customers! - The food is the ultimate delight and is always consistent as well as fairly priced. To recommend a dish isn't too difficult - Lemon Chicken everytime. Incidentally we now visit at least once a month - its a shame they can't cater for our wedding!

Would recommend to anyone and will certainly be visiting again! Menu has just been changed (July 09) and prices lowered slightly... more than worth the drive out......
The Fence Gate – BurnleyMe and my gf recently visited Francos. The food was quite good, service very good and the price was no problem at all. However, if you want that WOW factor I wouldn't recommend - tables were very close to each other so not intimate at all. Not a patch on one or two other Italians in the area.Francos is good but nothing amazing.
