Booked a Table for 3 for an early evening meal. Plenty of seating options, enjoyed outside area. Table service, which is nice. Staff all look presentable and were pleasant. Food arrived promptly and was tasty. Confused about portions and pricing though as one diner had light bites scampi and chips , 2nd diner had full size dish bit only got 3 more pieces of scampi? considering the price difference that was 3 very expensive scampi. Blackened chicken was lovely. Sadly had a long wait for condiments, ? Shift manager did acknowledge this but it's not great having no vinegar for your chips. ( On account of restocking the bottles and the bees we were told) Otherwise we had an enjoyable meal and wouldn't be put off visiting again

Very difficult to write a positive review as when we arrived the restaurant had shut down permanently!! Would have been nice if someone had contacted me to let me know. Luckily we managed to get a table at Santis on Princes Avenue, and that was lovely!

Disaster chose Windmill as my family were travelling from the south and ourselves from York. First, cold soup, 4 beef Sunday dinners, all tough beef, the small 3 roast potatoes were burnt black and couldn’t cut them and 4 green beans hidden and 2 tasteless carrots. 1 salmon dry I was so embarrassed to pay £167 Under normal circumstances I would have sent all back as none were eaten but we had waited so long.

We had a table for 4 booked at 5pm Sunday 27.07.25, the restaurant was quiet! The service was shocking, we have been many times but we have never had one main dish but no rice 15 minutes before the other 3 mains came to the table also with out rice. The 1 st main rice turned up just after the remaining mains but the other mains that had ordered rice had to wait a further 10 minutes for their rice to come to the table by which time some dishes had started to congeal. Pint of Coca Cola was flat and had to be replaced. The food was great but the service and atmosphere were appalling An expensive night for a poor evening

Recommend king prawns as a starter and Thai Green curry. Delicious!

Food is always amazing. Staff are polite and friendly. Vibe is very chilled and service is super quick! We have been 5/6 times now - The best Greek restaurant we’ve been too.
