Not a single complaint about this place! Lovely people & service, gorgeous carrot cake, fairly cheap entry fee and lovely interactions with the cats! Highly recommend to anyone interested.

A very enjoyable experience,we booked early on Friday evening and had ate from the early bird menu. The service from the two servers was impeccable.our drinks were served promptly and the food was delicious.i can highly recommend this restaurant for service, excellent food and value for money.we look forward to returning.

Fabulous meal and attentive service . We will definitely be back! Some dishes a little pricey but excellent quality. Only negative is that there was a 10% gratuity listed at the bottom of the bill. Ofcourse we know it is optional but there is no need to show it.

I would highly recommend fish and chips Friday, excellent food at exceptional value. Having said that, I’ve also tried a few other meals from the menu, they’re all great. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful breakfast in the sunshine, staff very welcoming and chatty, beautiful grounds and location. Travelled from Billingham and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

Authentic ... great for vegetarians ... service is fab and as it's family run it was so nice to chat to the owner and her lovely daughter Emma. 100% recommend and can't wait to come back for more xxx I did like the cosiness of the previous premises but totally see why they needed more space as the food is just soo good

Five old friends enjoyed a very nice lunch and get-together at the Craven Arms yesterday. We were well looked after by the restaurant staff, and the service and quality of food were excellent. My soup and trout were delicious, and in fact we all enjoyed what we ordered. Two friends hadn’t been there before, it declared it a good find and said they would happily go back there again.

Visited last night to celebrate my birthday, had the squid to start and then the two tier fresh sea food . Both were absolutely beautiful, so tasty and fresh. We also managed a pudding , I had the tiramisu cake and Dave had the biscoff cake again both amazing. The staff were excellent , very knowledgeable, quick and very pleasant,nothing was inconvenient for them.

Service not good. We asked twice if someone could come and take our order. Staff need to be more friendly

Found this restaurant by chance on holiday and ended up going twice in two days… despite Scarborough being around 40 minutes from where we were staying. Fantastic food and wonderful service!

Great food. I was particularly impressed by my lamb’s liver, which was cooked to perfection ( pinkish) and the great selection on the cheese board. Service was friendly and efficient. Thank you
