A lovely lunch yesterday for Mothering Sunday. The roast was huge, with plenty of meat, potatoes and veg, plus an enormous Yorkshire pudding!

Really great evening, food delicious. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Definitely would go again, have already recommended to other people.

Second time we have visited. It’s fast becoming a firm favourite of ours. Food is delicious and the service is excellent.

A magnificent meal yesterday at The Kings Arms in their main restaurant, for Mothering Sunday. Service was really on the ball, and everything delicious. Well and thankyou!

The meal was beautiful, but we were told, as soon as we were seated, that we only had 1hr and 15 mins to enjoy our food. As soon as we took our last mouthful the staff were there to take the plate, there was no break in between and then staff hovering until we left the table. Felt very rushed, shame we could not enjoy the meal at our leisure

Ww visited tickets mill for Sunday lunch on mothers day...the carvery was excellent...everything cooked to perfection...the staff were brilliant as always..would highly recommend

The food was lovely. The service left a lot to be desired. Ordered drinks which took ages to come. Asked for a table inside and we were seated outside. Very cold and we kept our coats on. Took ages for someone to come for our order and they said it was because they were busy inside. We booked a table well in advance and felt we got second class service compared to those warm inside. Starters arrived and weren’t right so 2 went cold whilst waiting for the other 3. Waiter said it was because he had given us another tables starters and the others weren’t cooked. He misread this table number. We watched as food was delivered to another 2 tables which was meant for other people. Ordered a Bacardi and coke. It arrived and the waiter said vodka and coke. I corrected him and said I had ordered Bacardi and he said that’s right, that’s what it is. It was actually vodka! Not sure I would return in a rush. Wonder if they were short staffed but I think the staff should be able to get the food to the right table.

3rd visit. Really easy to book. All were friendly and professional. Food and drink was great again. Very reasonably priced for great quality. Will book again soon and definitely recommend to others..

Excellent food within a lovely restaurant with great service.

A fab night out at El Toro. All you can eat menu was really good. We especially loved the calamari in the rich sauce with loads of garlic. Absolutely delicious. We enjoyed everything we had. The prawns in garlic and chilli were delicious would have liked a bit more chilli. Both calamari dishes were very good. Chicken wings, ribs, belly pork all were delicious. If we’re ever in Hull again we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Staff really nice as well

Had an excellent meal last night. Choice was different to your standard pub meals. All tasted great. Service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great food and interesting menu but very short-staffed and slow service. All around guests were waiting for service or complaining about mistakes in food or wine. To be fair our food was correct and very good and a very young waiter stayed calm. We were not too bothered by the delays but there were rows from some other guests and one table stormed out halfway through. A pity.
