The Look Out on the Pier is my favourite restaurant and never disappoints whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fabulous service and very friendly staff too. Thank you

Excellent Sunday lunch, the food was lovely. Attention to detail on the Vegetables, really appreciated. We ordered an extra bowl. Will return for definite and try the other nights. Four happy customers. I must also mention the waitresses, who were all young but looked experienced, with a great work ethic. They were a credit to Pannuozzos.

Fabulous food and service

A really special meal for our wedding anniversary. Great atmosphere, fabulous food. The staff (especially Alex) were attentive and friendly. Fair prices too. We've already said that we're going again the next time we're in Scarborough.

An absolutely wonderful cafe that serves amazing food whilst being able to enjoy the company of a lovely set of cats. The staff are fantastic and it’s one of my favourite places in Sheffield

We were a family of four celebrating my daughter in law’s birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak. The staff we lovely. The food was excellent.

Booked this for my birthday meal with friends. We were seated upstairs and a nice welcome . We chose the wine where waiting staff was helpful. However, it went a little downhill from there . Starter took around half an hour . The main was brought out to the table and 2 people were still eating their starter so f lt they had to rush so main course could be put down. Not good . We weren't asked if we wanted condiments we had to ask . Someone ordered another drink but it never arrived ! We had call someone to chase it up . No one came to check on the meals . The mains were cleared but no one asked if we wanted dessert. We waited so long one of our party asked for the bill , so they assumed we all wanted to pay our bill . Disappointing they didn't even acknowledge my birthday (apart from initially), No free little complementary liquor or miniature dessert. I could have booked any where but chose here . On a plus the food was delicious. Came away where I thought we could have had a more enjoyable afternoon elsewhere with a little more attention to detail . Despite the staff bring polite they appeared to lack direction and felt there was no senior/ front of house that oversaw what was happening

My friend and I went again on Saturday 18th January for lunch. Pre booking as usual as it can be busy and there isn't always a walk in table available. We had the chowder again as it's delicious. Ordered extra bread from the small plates menu as 1 slice is never quite enough but we find it's too much bread when served in a loaf! As usual the chowder was excellent and the staff were brilliant!

We enjoyed a delicious meal on Thursday 16th January. We had a garlic bread to share, my hubby had a Calzone and I had a seafood dish. This little place is an absolute gem. The staff are so friendly and efficient. We will definately be visiting again. Thank you. 10/10.

Excellent little bar, Staff where very attentive Would definitely recommend and will go back again.. plenty of choice on the menu and we all enjoyed what we had ..

Good food and good background music…what’s not to like!

Very unhappy I booked a table for 2 for 8.30p.m We arrived and the waitress said they weren't able to do bookings as the chef had now gone,I said but.i booked and you confirmed it for me, she said you get a confirmation email, I showed her the email,so she just smiled and said, our fault,but no chef,so what shall we do for food,she said no chef,, No apology, no offer of a future complimentary anything, very sad and disappointing, So.i can't rate food service atmosphere or value for money,,as we didn't get anything

We haven't been for a number of years due to being let down by previous management. TM recommended by a number of friends who were quite correct and pleased they did tell us as it was worth it. So my birthday lunch for 4. Prawn sandwich, Beef sandwich, Club sandwich and Quiche. All fresh and quality. Good service and will return

Amazing food. Calzone is my ABSOLUTE favourite. Lovely atmosphere. Quick service from the staff who are very friendly.

We went to the Lookout to celebrate my brother in law’s birthday. We were delighted that the staff had noted our request for a window table and had placed us with a fantastic view of the harbour. All the staff were great - helpful, friendly and professional. And the food was lovely. Three of our party had superb fish and chips and one had a delicious fish pie. There were several other dishes we could well have chosen and which we will definitely try on our next visit. Overall, we had a lovely experience and can strongly recommend this fantastic restaurant. We will be back!
