I've been meaning to take my mum out for lunch for ages and the rarity of being able to order a whole lobster in a seaside town is astounding. We weren't disappointed, the food was lovely as was the staff and we very much look forward to coming back.

Banarasi – HullHad a fabulous meal last Friday. Always greeted with friendly smiles and welcoming chats. Service second to none. Lovely cosy atmosphere, with the fire roaring up the chimney and the bar area beautifully decorated for Xmas. Will soon be booking again.

Took one of our friends who’s a chef and he was well impressed. He loved the lobster linguine. Booked again already. Only minor criticism is the music could get a little loud especially as we were sat near the speaker. All round fabulous little restaurant.

The White Hart – HullWe had a very nice Sunday Lunch, I chose The Craven Arms after looking at several local eateries as one of our diners is vegetarian and doesn’t like spicy food. Most places have veggie curries and only two veggie choices leaving her with only one option. You offer 3. You also accommodated our other friend who due to having had a kidney transplant can’t have undercooked meat. He chose the roast beef and you gave him the well cooked portion. THANKYOU for that
