Outstanding. I went about 15 years ago as a child and thought, let's go again. Honestly the food was so good and the drinks menu amazing. Had the crab which was delightful and so cheap. The citrus yuzu sake was great as well.

3 of us had a fantastic meal on a busy Friday night. We all opted for the special, which was exceptional - pork knuckle. The waitress Abbie was polite, friendly and knowledgable. When we were chatting we mentioned it was the birthday of one of our party, so she arranged a free dessert. First time any of us had been there, it won’t be the last. Thank you

This is my fourth visit to Mistal because I love it so much. Came with my colleagues this time for lunch/afternoon to use the ‘wellness workspace’. Hot chocolate and lemon cake were delicious. I usually have the amazing avocado/peas on toast and poached eggs when I come, but this time I had the sweet potato ciabatta which was very flavourful. I plan to keep returning :)

Absolutely outstanding food. This is the second time we have been and it was just as good as the first time. Service was excellent. I fancied some fish and the very helpful waiter recommended the Sea Bream. It was a large plump fish cooked perfectly which I had with some greens that the waiter mixed with olive oil and lemon for me. The starters we had were also delicious and the meatballs were the best I've had, very light and tender and so tasty! Top nosh here!

We love it at the Cow Shed. The service is excellent, staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is fab, really tasty, well presented and value for money. The views are amazing here with a view of the sea, what more do you need. We have breakfast, lunch and used the takeaway too. We also bring family and friends, they love it too. We are happy with the news that there will be early evening service here, count us in.

Favourite place to eat in Hull! It never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great and the staff are so welcoming. Always a good selection of beers from light to dark. Dyslexic fries FTW!

Our second visit to the Craven Arms and we had a really enjoyable meal. The food was excellent, the service attentive and efficient . The evening was good value for money in pleasant surroundings. We would definitely recommend and will return

We went on Saturday for evening dinner. I had the chicken supreme which was very good. My friend had «  the best burger ever ». The chocolate dessert was wonderful. Service was efficient but very relaxed. I particularly liked the fact that only the patio allowed dogs in the evening.

We visited the cow shed on Wednesday last week. The food was lovely as usual but the service was lacking! The gentleman who served us was quite rude when he was asked about what sugar feee drinks they had available as my partner is diabetic, the waiter just looked down his nose at us and wasn’t very helpful. The lady who brought us our food was lovely and friendly. Just a shame about the male waiter

Excellent hot food, steak pie was beautiful , vegetables cooked perfectly and lovely chips. Fabulous crumble and custard, sticky toffee pudding with extra sauce was delicious

Tapas ok apart from the chicken and chorizo kebabs were over cooked and dry. We didn’t eat them

Brooks is not cheap, but the food is excellent, a great variety of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. An added bonus, in view of the fact that my companion suffers from Coeliac disease, was the great variety of gluten free dishes. The atmospher was nice, the service excellent. All in all, it was a good night out. This was my second visit. I am very much inclined to make a third and a fourth....
