We had a lovely dinner here post walk on Ilkley Moor. The food choices were interesting, beautifully presented and tasty--we ordered vegetarian and were impressed with each dish. Really enjoyed the gin/elderberry sorbet with the raspberry dessert. Highly recommend.

Despite a minor misunderstanding which was completely understandable given the stressful and busy Jubilee weekend, the service was super kind and the amazing and delicious food was well worth the wait! Excellent service and food. We nabbed a great table next to the open kitchen and we've never felt so looked after and not rushed at a restaurant. We brought our almost 6mo baby and were thrilled by the care and attention given to him as well as us, straight away offered a highchair and some fresh pureed food for him. Chatting to the chef and team whilst they cook was an absolute pleasure and it really created a great atmosphere! The food - WOW every single element was beyond delicious and presented beautifully. We loved that some things were kept a surprise such as the lemon cake being deep-fried we wouldn't have ordered if we knew but my gosh it was good! The decor and fancy food we had seen on social media had put us off but a recommendation from another business made us go and were so glad we did, that's not how it feels when you're there -it's not pretentious at all but it is incredible. We will be back many times!
