Had Sunday lunch. What an amazing roast it was. Opted for the roast lamb. Generous portions, lashings of wonderfully tasty gravy, plenty of veg. Definitely will go again and would highly recommend

Have visited The Crown several times in recent months and we are always impressed with the warmth of the welcome, the absolute professionalism of all the staff and, above all, the excellent quality and choice of the food. I cannot praise The Crown highly enough and Danni at front of house always greets everyone with a cheery welcome. You must visit!!

My wife and I booked a table a few days before. The weather was fantastic so we took a table outside and thankfully the table have canopy’s as it was a really sunny day. Table service is offered outside but I ordered inside at the bar. My wife ordered a small fish and chips and I ordered the meat pie. The food was brought out within 15 mins and it was really tasty. My wife’s a bit of a fish and chip snob and she thought hers was great. My meat pie was lovely and full of meaty chunks. Service was very good and so were their prices. We will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing food, not just stunning to look at but delicious too. We had the 3 course early bird and it was exceptional good value. We loved watching the food being prepared and seeing the care and attention given to each and every dish. All I can say is every plate is a work of art and Dean and Danny are true masters of their craft. It’s hard to say what was my favourite dish of the evening as everything was so good, but if I had to choose, I would pick the dropped ice cream cone. It was beautifully presented and looked too beautiful to eat. I also had a taste of my partners sticky toffee pudding and that was so good too. Just make sure you leave room for a dessert! Will we be back? We most certainly will.
