Lovely place, great cocktails and really nice tapas, we had a lovely evening and the service was excellent. We will definitely go again, would highly recommend!

Visited on route to a concert in Leeds rather than eating in the city. What a great decision! The food was excellent, very reasonably priced and served by friendly, efficient staff. Highly recomended.

I went with my wife and our two boys (11 and 13). They dealt with a weird lighting problem with no fuss. They reached out when my youngest was having a fussy moment and solved it brilliantly. Lovely manner with him while doing this. The starters we v popular, including big white laudits for the tomato soup. The pig cheek was really light and nicely thought out. My Duck was intense and we’ll sauces. The tuna and gnocchi dishes were really well put together. Portions possibly even a bit big for those two? Desserts relatively disappointing given really impressive food to this point. Disastrous cheese board, but resolved very kindly and generously. We were there early eve, so atmos score possibly unfairly low!

Where to start.. Luna blu… Wow what a place.. From the entrance to the seating & the atmosphere this place is fabulous.. The food is really lovely & there’s plenty to choose from.. Cocktails are beautiful & again plenty of choice there’s something for everyone.. The prices are very fairly priced & the staff are so lovely they often check to see everything is ok & can’t do enough for you.. Thanks for a lovely experience.. I will definitely be back.. See you soon…

I brought my cousin to celebrate her 89th birthday on 15 June 2022. We parked off-road to the rear, which is a definite advantage. First impressions were of immaculate cleanliness and very simple decor, and we received a friendly welcome. Even at 6pm the place was busy, but there were no hiccups with service. We ate from the 3-courses-for-£30 menu, and were both very well pleased, portions being small enough to eat all 3 courses without feeling outfaced. My cousin needs a low-carb diet and the menu gave her plenty of choice. The food was made even more appetising by the attractive presentation, and we enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen where the busy team were working efficiently and quietly - no shouting or swearing . We did think the wines were expensive, but I quite see that a profit has to be made somewhere and the meal was very reasonably priced. The only downside was that, because all the surfaces are hard (ie no carpets or tablecloths) it is noisy. Diners are there to enjoy an evening out and, naturally, they laugh a lot - that's a good thing, but it can make conversation a bit difficult, especially for oldies like me.

Great venue! The bar staff are always so helpful and welcoming. No fuss and great to use for a work function. Also good value for money for an after work event.

Great food, early bird menu is excellent value for money. Staff attentive to your requests. We like to have starters then wait for 10 / 15 minutes before commencing to eat our main course. We just asked and yes it was no problem. Main course brought as requested and food was piping hot. A great place to eat, drink & chill. We will be back soon.

It was a family celebration and we had the 'Special Banquet' which was a delicious selection and was enjoyed by all.

Outstanding friendly and helpful service, delicious dishes and a perfect change from traditional holiday fare. A gem of a restaurant which has encouraged me to learn how to make kimchi! Portions are generous in most cases and three dishes per person more than enough. A lovely heartfelt story about how the restaurant came into being is a great touch. Ilkley must be very happy to have such a go-to destination!

This is our second visit to Brontaes and if anything the food and service is getting better all the time. We chose to try out the £30 per head early bird menu and we were not disappointed. The fishcake and pig's cheek starters were delicious and our mains were stunning - duck, gnocchi and belly bacon. Look at the menu to see all the magical ingredients that make these meal look and taste spectacular. The time and effort that goes into every meal is incredible. Hats off to Dale and his team. We finished with all four desserts between us - crumble, blondie, sticky toffee pudding and lemon sponge. They finished off a great meal. Service was impeccable and the food is top end restaurant quality at affordable prices - especially the early bird prices. Well done - we had a blast again.

We went for a pre cinema dinner early on a Friday evening. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

As usual an excellent meal. Staff were helpful and the service was good despite the restaurant being very busy. The children enjoyed the expereince.

Unpretentious local restaurant with an excellent early evening meal deal - ideal pre-T20 at Headingley. Tasty food, friendly and efficient staff. Happy to recommend.

We ordered the fish pie and the burger topped with bacon and cheese. The order took over 30 minutes to arrive despite there being only 2 other tables occupied. The fish pie was very good, but the vegetables were a little cold. The burger sadly was not good, it was burnt on the outside, bone dry inside and the brioche bun was also so dry that the top was flaking. There wasn't even a salad garnish to moisten things a little. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and chatty and it wouldn't stop us going again. Just won't order a burger.

Lunch yesterday (Friday). Absolutely fabulous. We had a wonderful lunch, four of us. I had the fish platter (freshest fish I've tasted in the UK in years) my wife had the halloumi satay and the mother in law had the Caesar salad. Brother in law had the duck salad. All dishes were beautiful. Thank you Danielle and Patrick it was fabulous, we will be back someday.
