Lovely food great evening

Our first experience with Brooks and this cuisine. Service and atmosphere were first class. Tapas is always great to try different food...and this was different for us in an amazing way... We enjoyed every dish in particular the hake and cod were exceptional. Definitely will be eating here again soon.

Greeted with a smile on arrival and shown to our table. Given time to read the drinks menu before been asked for our order. Allowed time to decide on our food choice before the waiter came for our order. Service was good and ample time allowed between course’s. The food was excellent

Wow wow wow! Compliments to the chef, the food was delicious!! I had avocado with peas on dough dough, added poached egg and mushrooms with hash browns and it was insane!!! I used the wellness work space which had a lovely chilled calming atmosphere! Staff all lovely, and the furnishings so comfortable! Highly recommend the cakes, I had lemon drizzle! Best lemon drizzle I have ever had! Can’t wait to come back

I am writing on behalf of my wife and daughter. They had a terrible reception when they went to the bar to order a drink and food. Danny and Frankie (unclear spelling) spoke to my 65 year old wife and daughter doctor as they they were the scum of the earth and refused them because they stated that the two were drunk. Perhaps because my wife came from Ukraine and has poor English. Discriminatory location not to be recommended. They were very angry when they arrived home and wee certainly not drunk when they got off the train.

Table booked for 9 people, very fast service and the food was lovely. Very friendly and easy to book a table.

I booked a table for 12 people on a busy Friday night for a hen do. In the run up the communication with Stuart was fantastic, he followed the online booking with multiple emails and even checked the day before that we were all still coming. The service was brilliant and we were able to pay for drinks seperately at the bar. The food came quickly, and was brought out together. It was tasty and everyone enjoyed it. Would definitely book again.

Excellent meal on Saturday , wonderful food

easy to book, even get a reminder . table ready and waiting . food was beautiful service was good. All courses were super. Its fives all the way from me . highly recommend.

Another great evening spent at Vine, great food, good wine and finished with a couple of delicious rum old fashion cocktails. Looking forward to our next visit soon.

The food was delicious and really nicely presented. Staff were very friendly and professional. The only negative for me is the bar area. We decided not to have a pre-dinner drink as it felt a bit like a dentist's waiting room. Simple decor can be nice, but for me it just needs a bit of something ', interesting'.

As always, absolutely delicious food, venue, service. I can’t fault anything, it’s the most loveliest of experiences.

This is a gem of a restaurant. The staff are tremendous, and the food terrific. We loved the diverse menu and the atmosphere too. A great evening.

My wife and I booked on Saturday evening for our first visit to Brontae’s. What an experience! We were seated right in front of the kitchen (side by side) which gave us the opportunity to observe the chef at work. He was without his sous chef so had to do everything himself for a room full of diners. He was unflappable and never stopped smiling and chatting to the guests and his staff - no shouting or swearing in this kitchen!! The food was incredible. Pork cheek and tuna fish cakes were our starters followed by the duo of chicken and duck. Every dish was full of flavour and the portions were also very generous. The wine list was short and simple and our bottle of rose as good as any we have tasted. We had the best evening in a long time and without question, will be back again soon. We could not recommend this place more and so pleased it’s so close to home!!
