Excellent Food, and been Akbar's, been Agrars, Mumtaz but they do not even touch this restaurant!! Excellent Vindaloo and Great customer service young lad called Haseeb. Kepp up to the good job

There was a little wait between courses (which is fair enough since it's all freshly cooked) That would be the only possible negative. The food was delicious - worth probably 3x more what was paid! Service was polite. The atmosphere and style of the restaurant is highly attractive. Glad to say i'll be treating my mrs. out to meal there this month! More of a treat for me than her!

totally shafted us! booked for 80 people at £10 per head, served the food an hour and a half late, and only enough food for 40! now wont reply to our complaint.

Well we went for our anniversary and it was excellent ! we did not book, but were warned there was only 2 waiting staff on, this was not a problem. All the food was excellent, my trio of puddings was made specially to cater for the puddings I liked. We had one small mishap the coffee had the wrong liquor, however was changed as soon as informed. Excellent place to go , next time will try the lunch menu. Consider this as a place to go YOU WILL LOVE IT !

My family and I have been regulars at the sweet centre for many years. In my opinion its the best place for a great Indian meal. Recently we had a group of us use the function room ( at no extra cost) for a family birthday meal which just added a lovely intimate bonus to the evening. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the waiters. Ten out of ten!!!

After booking the reservation well in advance, I must say the wait was worth it. My husband and I followed the best restaurant series and we were definitely team prashad! Being huge carnivores, we were unsure of the menu. But with so many flavours rolling around in your mouth, we didn't notice the absence of meat one bit. Aunty came out from the kitchen several times. I would recommend this restaurant to any one. Some of the best food I have ever tasted and we will certainly be regulars.

Fabulous building, great beer, food good. Don't drive straight past this place on your way to Leeds or Ilkley, like we have for years, it's well worth a visit. The food is what you want to find from an English pub, no pretentious fodder, just traditional English pub food.

You must try this the food is great and the price is right we had the Christmas lunch but some of our friends had steak which they said it was so tender cost 17.95 for three course was the 17.95 we have spent on are Christmas dinner out

My Dad and I stopped for bite to eat at this restaurant on our way from London to the Lakes. I'm a vegan, and we only found out about the restaurant through the Happy Cow website. We stumbled upon a diamond. The food was faultlessly magnificent, the menu presented an extensive range of vegan options, and because at the time we were the only guests we had the undivided attention of the waiter, who was the daughter of the chef (who we met later on). Whilst it was extremely fortunate for us to have the hosts all to ourselves, there can be no question that they deserved far more custom. At the end of the meal I asked the waiter tentatively if she would give me the recipe for the delicious main course I'd eaten - I was actually joking; I didn't expect for a moment she would give it to me, but to my surprise and delight she hand wrote the ingredients and the entire method and then gave it to me. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you live in Wetherby (or even Leeds) or if you're just passing by on the A1, stop by and indulge yourself in some of the most sumptuous Indian food you'll ever get the chance to taste.

have had many a curries at balti house , have to say it is one of the best curry places we have visited, excellent food, excellent staff especially Zak, he makes you so so welcome , just had new years eve there 2010, was still lovely , if you haven't been we would highly recommend a visit , been going for years and years ,

Food was lovely and so was the atmosphere, did feel a bit forgotten to the back end of the meal. possibly because we were sat upstairs at the very end near the mirror and there was a big party on the middle table. I do always like soft lighting when eating out on an evening but on the area to the far end 1st floor where our table was it could do with a bit more lighting but no too much!! Is there anyway outside could be fully glazed and heated. i would have loved to eat in this area if it was more permanent even in the winter? Overall opinion is this is the best restaurant in Beverley by far and we will be eating at Lucia''s many more times to come as well as recommending others.

A top class restaurant, food outstanding and not cheap, but if you want spoiling try it!!
