Lived in York for a long time just visited Tassili on a recommendation by a friend. What can I say the food was sublime with a vast array of subtle flavourings which rested easily on the palette, the portions were generous, the wonderful chicken soup starter was a meal in itself. The wine list is small but the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon we had was very complimentary to the lamb dish. Service was exemplary,well worth a visit.

I have been there twice but never had a good experience. Poor service, waitress was very impatient and carried a non-inviting gloomy expression. Food was overpriced and not up to standard. I ordered the saba(mackeral) teriyaki bento set and it was not good. Batter for tempura was too oily, rice portion too little, salad too sour (soaked in vinegar). Most importantly, the mackeral is not up to a japanese restaurant standard. The mackarel tasted exactly the same as my other friends' dishes which were unaju (grilled eel) and ton katsu(pork). Overall not a good experience and in fact, the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever dined in.

I was very disappointed, food was good but service and attitude of some staff was poor, i had booked a table for valentines night and referred them to sugarvines offer, they did not honour the offer and we were disappointed with their attitude, we had to choose from the a'la carte menu and spent a good deal more than we would have, our main courses were a long time coming and were wrong, they apologized and offered sweets on the house.

This restaurant isn't in Leeds city centre, it's about 2 miles outside it on the A65 going out of the city. The description is misleading to anyone wanting to combine a meal here with a visit to the shops or theatre.

I was in Harrogate for a weekend break and not knowing where to eat asked the very helpful lady in the cookshop what she would recommend. She mentioned this place and we had such a wonderful meal that we went back to the cookshop the following day to thank her for the recommendation. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food and wine. I have and will be spending many more weekends in Harrogate because of this fab restaurant.

Although we live only a short distance from Luigis it is still our favourite Italian! I would defy anyone to tell me they can get better garlic bread elsewhere! We eat here at least once a month and always receive a warm welcome (we are so regular that the waiter brings our usual wine without asking)!!! We spent New Year's Eve here and although apprehensive as we had never seen New Year in at a restaurant before, we were not disappointed. The food, atmosphere and fireworks etc made it a very special evening. Well done to the staff and not forgetting the chefs who cook splendid food.See you this evening for our usual early bird.

We came with out visitor from Dundee to Prashad for dinner. We had faluda, papads, bhel supreme, patras, Rawa utthapam, idli sambar, rengan and pottoes, rotlis, and mango shrikhand. Our guest was delighted that he had an opportunity to dine here. He could not believe that such exquisite dishes could be devised and produced in a small restaurant in Bradford! So thank you Prashad. You have now a devoted fan in Dundee, Scotland!

Best Bangladeshi food in Leeds. Always freshly cooked on the premises, none of this bulk cooking adopted by some other well known restaurants. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable about the food and ingredients as well as accommodating. Strongly recommend you try you will nor be disappointed and will return for more.

The food at Spice House was delicious.Some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted.The staff were also very friendly. I recommend you to go to Spice House now!

I am from Dundee. I am here to give lectures to the Theosophical Societies in Bradford and Leeds. When I came to Bradford last year, my hosts brought me to Prashad for our dinner. We came to Prashad again today. I had a Faluda, the pure ambrosia drink of the Gods! We had papadums with four different pickles. Then it was Bhel supreme and Patra. Next was South Indian Rava Utthapam and Idlis; followed by rengan (aubergines) and potatoes with rotlis. For dessert, I had mango shrikhand, a delicious yoghurt dish. It was a divine banquet. Bradford must be proud to have this wonderful little restaurant. Surely, even the gods would queue up outside Prashad to dine here.

Got there too early. 5:40p.m. asked to wait till 6:00p.m. glad we did! Early bird was fantastic. Excellent bread board with olives and sundried tomatoes while waiting for starters. Hot, fresh, very tasty food served by professional people, (maybe a few smiles wouldn't go amiss though). Booking advisable as there is no waiting area really. Definitely an eating pub, albeit a very nice one.

we visited salute in January 2012 our view was over priced mediocre food watch out for the service charge on your bill !! wont be visiting again and we wont recommend this to anyone.

had several meals at huddersfield 4*star pity one cant book a table
