Harry’s Carvery – Bradfordwould have liked a link to book a table that would have been the icing on the cake and the red snapper is to die for
Les Caveaux – HolmfirthI have to say I visited the restaurant last night and was very disappointed, The restaurant doesn't take bookings during the week so we arrived early but were still made to stand and wait for a table for over an hour in a little bar area by the kitchen. the place was packed and it was like waiting in a bus queue. The owner was rude and arrogant when we complained and said he had passed us over for other parties as we hadn't informed him when we had all arrived, even though we had told two different waiters who hadn't done anything about it. When we asked to sit in the new bar area we were told it wasn't licensed and we had drinks but even if we finished them we couldn't go in there. it was only after we had complained for a second time that we were finally seated - crammed into a corner so we could barely move. the owner re-appeared to take our order - pawing at one of our party at the same time and commenting on our supposed abuse of his cheap laminated menus for folding them over so we had room to read them. Food was lukewarm but the pizzas were good if a little soggy. Unfortunately i had to ask three times and wait over half an hour for tap water and friends waited 20 minutes for a second round of drinks and nearly three quarters of an hour for two liqueur coffees which were also cold when they arrived. overall a very disappointing visit and quite simply the shoddiest service I've ever had - we won't be returning.
Aldo’s Pizzeria – CleckheatonFollowing a recent visit I am most disappointed ordered coffees to go with our meal and the cream was solid with green mould on it, asked for some more and then the cream that was brought was out of date. Nobody seemed bothered and apology was all I got, the coffees were not even complimentary. There was 6 of us dining and a lot of money was spent.
The livers edge – LiversedgeDear sir I visit Scarborough regularly throughout the year as i have family there myself and my family when down always go to scalby manor it is very good value for money my children love going there the staff are very polite and cant do enough for you everything is cooked to perfection i have never heard a complaint in all the times i have been there i would recommend it to anyone
Scalby Manor – ScarboroughMy Partner and I went to the Copperhorse for a meal on Friday 11th February. We are members of the Tastecard club and when looking on the Internet for nearby restaurants we found The Copper Horse. Both the food and service were excellent, and the restaurant itself was very comfortable, with an amazing array of Pantomime/Show memorabilia. We both had all three courses, however as the portion sizes are not shy 2 courses would have been suffice. Although large meals, the presentation and taste are definitely not compromised, and I would recommend to anyone who loves great British food, freshly prepared.
Copper Horse – ScarboroughMy family and I had a lovely meal on saturday 20th of February. The staff were very courteous the restaurant was clean and nicely furnished. We have been before and each time enjoyed our meal. I have recommended it to our friends.
Elephant and Castle – BarnsleyI adore Aldo's!! It's as old as I am and I have been going since I was a small child. It is without a doubt my favorite restaurant. I go frequently, sometimes even twice in the same week and I never get bored. The menu is very extensive for an Italian and the food is amazing. I have never had a bad meal there and must have been hundreds of times by now. Pino has just opened a wine bar next door to Aldo's which is gorgeous. The decor, staff and atmosphere make you feel like you're in a posh wine bar in Leeds yet the prices are very reasonable. The wine bar makes Aldo's the full package for a night out, you can now meet there for drinks, have an amazing meal and follow it with a party atmosphere in the bar. I cannot emphasise enough how amazing this place is and would recommend you try it for yourself!!
Aldo’s Pizzeria – CleckheatonDare cafe is fantastic. It has excellent food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I had my hen do here and the staff were so accommodating and attentive throughout the night. We loved it. I am a regular here and always come away feeling extremely satisfied. Absolutely love the 4 course option, go for it everytime. My friends from Liverpool always ask to go here when they are in Leeds as they love it so much. Highly recommend it..

British Oak Inn – WakefieldI'd like to reiterate what other diners have said - the chef and food are great but some of the staff (the chef's family, I think) can be very rude indeed.
Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden BridgeI've brought a few friends over the year I have known Hansa's and every time it gets a great review no matter who I bring (even those who mention the lack of meat). The food is mouthwateringly superb and the service is always homely and friendly. I recommend Hansa's to everyone.
Hansa’s Cookery School – Leeds City CentreHad a fantastic meal at Samarkland in heckmondwike the staff are friendly and the owner sammi makes you feel so welcome. I would give it a 10 out of 10 We will be going again very soon
Samarkand – WakefieldI came to Leeds with a group of my girlfriends for a weekend packed full of shopping, drinking and eating so after visiting countless shops and trying on what seemed like a million items of clothing, we headed over to San Carlo for a bite to eat. It was lovely from the minute we walked in. The waiter we had was very friendly and seated us after five minutes, which was fine as we hadn’t booked in advance. He took us to a lovely corner where we could catch up and gossip. After we had ordered our mains, which took quite some time as there were so many choices, one of our friends revealed that she had something to tell us. The table quietened as we were waited in anticipation with what she would say. She then broke the silence telling us she was expecting! Amazing news! Of course we ordered celebratory drinks straight away (except the mother to be obviously) and drank up! After hearing the shrieks and cries, the waiter guessed something had happened and after we had told him, brought a complimentary bottle of champagne over to us. It just got better and better! By the time our mains arrived, we were all fairly tipsy but that didn’t change the fact that it tasted wonderful! It was presented superbly, like a work of art! We left San Carlo feeling full, tipsy and ecstatic with our friend’s news, quite a few feelings to have at one time! Thank you so much to all at San Carlo, we will be back before the baby comes!
