5 stars. No, 6 stars. 6 out of 5. Prashad does not serve meat or alcohol, 2 things I was sure I would miss when going out for a curry. But this was easily the best Indian food I've ever eaten, every bite was a taste sensation. The starter platter gives a taster of all the starters and each one is amazing. The mains are intensely flavoured, very generous in proportion, and fantastic value for money. And that's just the food. The service was 6 out of 5 also. Having arrived without a booking we were squeezed in after only 10 minutes. The waiting staff were extremely personable, courteous and knowledgable, telling us everything we needed to know about the food. It was clear that they were extremely passionate about what they were talking about. The icing on the cake was a personal table visit from the chef, sparing some time in her very busy night to ensure her guests were enjoying themselves. Overall this was not a simple evening meal, it was a real experience and a joy. My friend and I spent the rest of the evening grinning from ear to ear and talking about how amazing it was. Well done Prashad, it's easy to see why you are so successful. I would make many return visits although it is a bit far to come from Belfast!!!

What can I say Wow, After seeing Prashad on Gordon Ramsay I booked a table between the ad break I was very excited. We arrived and took a seat in the waiting room, a few mins later Six of us sat and ordered drinks and tucked into the best pickle tray every we knew then we were up for a taste sensation. We left our order up to them as we couldn't make a decision and we were not disappointed. again the main course wow the flavours spices freshness of the food we had some real meat eaters at our table and no one missed meat at all we will definitely be back again soon, thanks so much for a fantastic birthday to remember x

A great restaurant in ALL respects. We booked a table for 6 people and asked the waiter to choose for us so we got chance to sample a wide range of dishes. All unique and different from the usual Indian cuisine we are familiar with. Even the dedicated carnivores were very pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian delights. All staff were pleasant and professional. Great to have a chat with the Chef and Owner too. We will definitely return soon and drive the 30 minutes to collect a take-away. In a word; Magnificent.

As a meat lover I was only persuaded to visit this restaurant for a friends birthday. However I am very glad that they did! The food was outstanding as was the service. If all vegetarian food tasted this good I would definitely eat it more often! I would particularly recommend the Chick pea Chole and the Bhinda dishes. I don't normally eat desserts but I thought I'd try them here and see what they were like. I would definitely have both the Carrot Cake and the Mango Shikand! Overall we thought the whole meal was amazing, needless to say we will all be going back!

Excellent service and great food. Use it for takeaway all the time and have always felt welcomed when eating there too.

I've been eating here for about 10 years and I always enjoy the food; and I love the fact the staff recognise me when I walk in. Service is everything!

Fantastically good food and ambiance. You won't be disappointed.

We thought we'd try this restaurant after seeing it on TV. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was brilliant too, with all the staff, including the chef, coming to talk to us. We took our 2 young teenage boys, who were also made really welcome. Being brought up in Bradford we are used to curries, but the food here was such a surprise - really different with a bit of a wow factor. The 4 of us had 2 generous courses and drinks for less than £70. Highly recommended.

i would recommend this to my friends and family as i feel welcome everytime that i go, and they make me feel welcome even when i take my 1 year old, she loves it and so do i. The food is great and there is plenty to choose from xx even desserts xx

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, nothing is too much to ask!

The food was poor , no heating on very cold, not even a toilet seat on the disabled toilet !!! Staff seemed very disorganised . Wouldn't go again .

under new management .... arrived and was greeted by lovely young lady who promptly seated myself and family. Chose Garlic mushrooms for starters followed by a beef sizzler .. To finish had a homemade dessert , it was bakewell tart and custard .. devine !! certainly worth a visit so much so that we have booked our wedding anniversary

Small and cosy pub, on the canal at Skipton. Good home good food, decent portions and always piping hot. Reasonable prices, the chili is a personal favourite of mine, but they also serve an excellent roast dinner. Try, you wont leave hungry!

I went to prashad after i had seen it on tv. If you want me to be honest the service was good, but the food did not live up to its expectation after all the hype on gordon ramseys program. If you want tasty and fresh food try lilys vegetarian indian cuisine in ashton under lyne

Da Vinci in Yarm, what Yarm has been waiting for, Great food, Great Atmosphere, Great service and most importantly Excellent value for money. One could eat out every night on these prices!
