Britannia Spice – HeswallExcellent Bistro and Bar. Lovely place with attentive staff. Nice atmosphere without the usual city crowds. Good location for a special event or just going out for a meal. Food is very, very nice.
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely brilliant...We have been coming here since my youngest son was 6..He's now 34!!!...The food cannot be beaten. Wherever we go on holiday in this country we always check ouit the Indian restaurants in the area, the initial response is always the same, "Not as good as the Taj"..Keep it up...
Taj Mahal – WaterlooThis is the best place to eat a good steak chicken, etc the chips are excellent to. I have been going to this restaurant since i was 17, and thats a good few years. I have never complained about the food or the service its execellent, and great value for money. Also had family meels here up to 20 of us an they still get the food to you all and no waiting. I would recomend any one to go there you wont be disappointed.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensHad a really good meal last night - reasonably priced and a very high standard. Presentation was excellent - will definitely go again.
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City CentreHave been going there since 1983 fab excellent food great service I would recommend to anyone xx
Gate Of India – WaterlooExcellent. Very attentive but not overbearing staff, interesting and varied menu, pleasant décor and very good food. Will certainly be returning in the near future.
Spiceways – WavertreeMe and my friends visited the venue to celebrate a birthday, we had a table booked for 7pm but due to traffic my friends did not arrive until 7:20pm. on arrival we where promptly sat at our table no drinks where offered and the staff where not very friendly!!! to me it did not seem busy as it possibly could be so i felt that there was no excuse for poor service.....once we decided what we wanted to eat it was brought out quickly but the waitresses where hovering around as if they couldnt wait to remove our plates! it felt very rushed and put me off! the food was basic wouldnt reccommend!! when the main was finished i asked for the dessert menu and was refused by the manager as she said there was no time for us to have one due to us being 20 minutes late!! she was not one bit apologetic she was just very blunt and basically said that we had a slot that for 1hr 30minutes and because we where late we could not eat dessert! This was absolutley ridiculous and i have never been refused anywhere before for food......if we didnt finish our meals on time would they have asked us to eat faster?????? highly not recommended!!!!
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreAwful, awful place. On entering the restaurant we were completely ignored by the staff. While standing waiting for 5 minutes for the staff to acknowledge our presence, we were able to take in the shoddy decor and the disgustingly dirty carpet. In the end the staff did us a favour and we had an opportunity to leave and go elsewhere.
Asiana – West DerbyVisited Othello's with my partner this evening and enjoyed the most fresh and finely cooked meal I've had in a restaurant for a long time. We shared fresh greek dips, Greek salad mixed with olives and amazing feta cheese and hot pitta bread to start followed by traditional chicken keebabs. The food was perfect and the chicken just melted in your mouth! Fabulous service too. We'll definitely be visiting Othello's again soon!
Othellos – Wooltonstunning place and food good luck lads.
Green Garlick – St.HelensI have been coming here for 4 years straight and I absolutely love the food, the staff, the atmosphere, they are so friendly they come over and fill your glass up, absolutely love it, very warm feeling going in they always greet you with a smile. I give it 10/10 and ***** 5 star.
Yums Oriental Buffet – Liverpool City CentreFantastic restaurant. Had a lovely meal at Frankies. Came to celebrate GCSE results and couldnt fault the restaurant. The staff were lovely, not too in your face and wait inbetween courses was perfect. The food was fab, fresh and well presented. Great atmosphere and would definitely visit again
Holiday Inn Express Hoylake – HoylakeWent on friends advice, nice place friendly staff and food is very good, had the mixed plate followed by turkish dessert. we really enjoyed the food and the price was right will go again soon ..
Tulay Turkish Restaurant – WaterlooWent there this week. The place was deserted and we felt a bit lost. It's obviously very old,but it is spotlessly clean.Wasn't impressed with the pensioners menu, very boring and i thought maybe we had made a mistake. However we ordered steak and chips, the steak very well done. It was perfect. Usually well done means dry and toughbut this was lovely and the chips would be worth going back for alone. Going to be a regular of ours i think.
The Crying Tree – WooltonFood was amazing and was very lively, enjoyed tapas and a carafe of wine between the three of us. We were extremely impressed with the service and would certainly visit again!
Sakara – AigburthSan Carlo Liverpool is a gem of a restaurant. I’ve been there a few times for different occasions and the food is always high quality. I recommend their ‘Pasta Alla Norma’ dish – really tasty with loads of fresh vegetables in!
