Amalia Italian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWent for a birthday celebration. Great service. Tasty food. Great deals. Delicious cocktails. In our own neighbourhood. Perfect.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthSorry, but my experience not the best. Felt like a Florida theme park restaurant, rushed & rushed some more. Starters and main both done within 1/2 hour. Plates snatched away the second you put cutlery down. No pause. Table in corner meant chair getting knocked alot and staff squeezing between us to shred duck. Food was great though. Tganks.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonCame here on a Saturday night and it was really very busy, it had been a hot day and we sat outside. We shared a calzone and a carbonara and the carbonara was inedible, chewy yet not al dente with some dry cream sauce on it, burnt pancetta and not an egg in sight. We had to swap it for another meal. The calzone was just ok, had to mop up loads of liquid from where we cut it open with napkins or it would of gone soggy. Service was also not the greatest, we and some people in the queue in front of us were waiting in the wrong place and we were shouted at!!! I had only heard great things so I was disappointed
Amalia Italian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreThe food was excellent, fresh and tasty, as were the cocktails. The staff were friendly and really made us feel welcome. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely gorgeous food, the staff were very helpfull and friendly, very big portions on our meze and very reasonable priced, will definitely be going back
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthNot the place it used to be. Food below average. Flavourless meat no doubt preprepped and thrown into a stock sauce that had very little vegetables and 1 piece of pineapple in a sweet and sour dish. Very pricey for what we got. Think I’ll stick with a bottle of Sharwoods Sauce next time.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyThe staff and management are all pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food, drinks and service were all fantastic. You get the feeling that everyone genuinely cares about you enjoying your time here unlike with most big chain bars and restaurants.
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotAnother outstanding lunch at Harrington’s. We absolutely this place. The food is perfect, tasty and lots to choose from. The Scouse Bird cocktail is the best. The staff are lovely, they always treat you like you're part of the family. Meg is an absolute star - she goes above and beyond despite being really busy. The best place in Prescot by far to eat and drink.
