Rik’s Cusine – Liverpool City CentreVisited last night,190812, whilst the location is stunning, the views of the setting son spectacular. Sadly the food was awful, waited 1hrs 30 mins from starter, when it finally arrived it was cold, badly presented and the paella, was more a like a mush of uncle Ben's quick cook rice. Gracefully the food was removed from the bill, but it will take a lot for me to re book a table, very disappointed. I had too ask twice to speak to manager, and eventually had to go to her. Sorry sheldrakes you let yourselves down badly
Sheldrakes – HeswallFirst visit tonight. The food is excellent, freshly cooked and of good quality. Decent menu to choose from. The staff are very good, not in your face and attentive when needed 2 starters,2 mains and a bottle of wine less than £50. I will be returning in the not too distant future and will be recommending this to friends and family.
Antalya – Mossley HillI went an ordered a take away for two people from the taj mahal and it was appallingI can go to Iceland and get better, the only thing that I had changed from the set meal was I wanted keema nan instead of the normal nan bread, there was no keema in the nan and no meat of any description just a red dye so its just a rip off….on a 1 to 10 scale I would rate this place as 1 as the food was just plain bland tasteless and the sauces watery, I have cooked better at home.Sorry taj mahal but being a brummie I do know Indian food and this is a very poor example of it.
Taj Mahal – WaterlooHave been here a few times now and really enjoyed the first few times, great food and excellent service nothing to fault. However, it now seems to be becoming a popular destination for stag/hen and other large, noisy parties which totally spoil the atmosphere! On our last visit, my husband and I had to shout throughout the entire meal to be able to hear one another and we were already seated at the opposite end of the restaurant! Won't be going back any time soon.
Savina – Liverpool City CentreI went to this restaurant as it was a newly opened establishment in our area. Always expect maybe a few teething problems with new places but this was first class. Not only was the food out of this world, but the staff were fun, happy and very hardworking. Considering it is ramadam and the staff are fasting, they were absolutely fantastic. The interior is gorgeous and this new restaurant, will be around for many years to come. Honestly, the food and some of the flavours me and my boyfriend experienced were like nothing we've ever tasted before. And there were footballers in the next booth, so that kept my chap happy!!!
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonVisited on first weekend of opening, excellent decor and nice atmosphere about the place.Staff very friendly, the menu is varied with old favourites and the new type Indian meals, excellent startersand also nice to see chapati on the menu.Overall a very enjoyable meal in the heart of Woolton village
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonSometimes great, sometimes definitely not but today was the last straw. Waited at the bar whilst 4 staff chatted and eventually bought drinks and placed our order. Pizza night, you'd think they would have the ingredients to produce what they offer or, at least admit that they haven't and decline the order. If you run out of mozzarella cheese, ham and seafood it's impossible to produce a marinara (seafood) pizza or a ham and pineapple pizza. Our meals took a long time to arrive and we should not have bothered waiting! I have never had a pizza made with cheddar cheese before. Ham and pineapple is not so good when it's just pineapple and sludgy warm cheddar. Tomatoes and a few slivers of smoked salmon are definitely not seafood and when I came across tuna, which I detest, buried in the cheddar sludge, we both decided to cut our losses. Stopped at Asda on the way home and ate at 10.00. Not a great evening out.
Rueters – SouthportLovely meal for lunch, kebabs, hummous, nan bread.pleasant service, reasonable prices £26 for 2x2 courses.with a couple of drinks.will definitely return for another go.
Azagros Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreMe and my family regularly use Hong Sing and the food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.. Highly reccomended 10/10
Hong Sing – St.HelensThey really need to change the name. Chilli Pot sounds like a takeaway place, and when you see the outside of the restaurant, thats what it looks like too. Its a pity, because that really doesn't do justice to the food. I went here last night with my partner, and we were impressed. The food was lovely, with really fresh and clean tastes and the service was excellent. The food was beautifully presented and the portions are generous but not overwelming, so we left pleasantly full but not stuffed. Lovely, just change the outside and the name.
Chilli Pot – Liverpool City CentreHad a fab time here, the food and service was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asking what the courses where. The venue was spacious and packed therefore I would recommend booking before going there. Loved the food and the place so much going back Sunday....
Elif – ChildwallThe staff were very attentive and it was a real treat, hence the fact that I went back about a week later which I seldom, so quickly anyway!! Yum yum
The Fat Italian – CrosbyThis place has to be one of the best Indian restaurants on Wirral. The food is delicious (especially the chicken madras) it tastes very fresh and the staff are very friendly and you can also take your own drinks in aswel!! The decor could be improved but it's clean and that's what matters. Overall 9/10 very impressed!
Manzil Indian Restaurant – BirkenheadHave eaten here many times and the food is always good, great staff with a nice welcoming attitude and atomosphere to boot.
Mount Pleasant – SouthportThis place is a joke! Very expensive, food is cooked in the microwave has no taste and the service is poor ordered based on the managers recommendation what a mistake, avoid spend your money somewhere else
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreThis place has not changed its decor since the 60's it's like going back in time. The service is good. The food is very average or below based on what you order. This place seems to add 3 times more gravy sause than the meat, also the spices used make food taste bland, Indian food needs to taste sharp and spicy not sweet full of blended onions!
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI have been coming here for a very long time and always go home 100) satisfied. The food- exquisite. The service- impeccable. The decor- beautiful. The staff- very friendly. The restaurant is family run and the main man izzy(magician) is very good entertainment. His brother sam and nephew jubel are very friendly and pleasant. I could not fault magic spices in any way at all and would highly recommend it.
