I follow Picked Walnut on Instagram and could tell just from the pictures that the chef knows what he is doing! My partner had duck and I had the vegan burger. I’m always reluctant to order vegan burgers as most often they are like eating soggy cardboard but this one was delicious and full of flavour. My partner loved the duck and we especially enjoyed the patatas bravas. My only criticism is that these and the chips were too salty. However, the over salting of food is believed by many to indicate the chef is in love so good on them ❤️

Good food and a large drinks selection which are both extremely reasonably priced. Staff are fantastic and really accomodating too. Looking forward to going back soon.

Food lovely well priced served quick staff on bar nice

We booked in advance and chose to sit outside for drinks on a very pleasant day in July 2020. Very well organised re covid distancing and there was a book to sign for contact details. Menu was accessed via a QR code to mobile device and staff explained how to order and that drinks and food would be brought to us at our table. Food was delivered in single use disposable packaging with single use cutlery, it was tasty and hot. Great service, really enjoyed very nice afternoon.

The food was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious, the food presentation was lovely, the service was very friendly and efficient, we got a free dessert and the portion sizes were very generous. I loved the atmosphere, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and was very vibrant. Overall, really enjoyed the evening and will definitely be returning when I next visit Liverpool.

I always try to fit in a visit to Ayuthaya when I come to visit my family in Liverpool. As usual, was not disappointed, the food was delicious. The coconut soup on the starter menu is fabulous. Last time I visited I had the spicy Beef Salad but it unfortunately wasn't available this time due to more limited Covid menu. I had the spicy king prawn salad instead which was fresh and tasty, not quite as good as the beef but still lovely. Awesome Beef on the starter menu was just that - awesome. My sister had the Penang curry which was quite sweet, but very moreish. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. A great little place.
