Visited The Dean yesterday for the festive afternoon tea and what a delight it was. The singer and group singing carols was a perfect start to Christmas celebrations. The food was amazing and the service was first class. Also stayed behind for a cheeky cocktail. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas too. A lovely atmosphere.

We thought it would be quieter during the week as we were celebrating my mother in laws birthday. So that was slightly disappointing. The staff were great, couldn’t do enough for us and gave the kids ice cream. We will definitely be going back.

The Dean – St.HelensOn the whole an excellent meal. The food was tasty and the service was extremely efficient. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Only dropped one mark for food as one person in our party did not enjoy their goats cheese starter but overall I would certainly recommend clockworks and would go again.
