My mum and dad used to go the Himalaya when I was kid of about 4 or 5, I'm now 36 and its still going strong, that's it that's all I have to say, anywhere thats been open for so long must and is a fantastic place to eat, great food great staff great price.
Himalaya Indian Restaurant – Birkenheadlive bands every weekend, most preety good classic rock. dont do food mid week,shame, just weekend, best burgers around, actually homemade not just homemade in factory then frozn as some would have you belive. Beer garden is south liverpools hidden gem, still have a bowling green thats get used. all in all best local round here. only downside, bins on front need emptying a bit more regulary.

My brothers and I are geographically separated (Newcastle, Cardiff and Liverpool) and this is our venue of choice when we convene in our hometown. We have no hesitation in recommending it to you. The food is of a consistently high quality (both meat and vegetarian) - we have never left the premises disappointed. Salads are crisp, clean and fresh and main courses are tasty and filling. The service is attentive, helpful and considerate. We have enjoyed family occasions here and will be back again when future visits to Liverpool coincide.

I had the steak which was cooked medium to perfection starters were nice and very tasty. I would highly recommend this venue plus the puddings were Delicious. Plus we had our table for over two hours with no pressure to hurry up. Well worth going to

What a fabulous venue - stunningly beautiful views of the River Mersey, early sunshine glinting of the water, then the lights from the Wirral reflecting in the dark. Food was the best I have had for a very long time (absolutely delicious); staff were wonderful, happy and friendly. Please do not hesitate to visit - I will certainly be going back again and again. Forge Brasserie – SouthportThis little gem of a restaurant cannot be recommended highly enough! Recently changed owners but the quality of both food and service was superb. Fresh Scottish langoustines, beef medallions, even the ubiquitous sticky toffee pudding - all to die for! Chef Arran, was informative, enthusiastic, passionate about his food and it showed in both flavour and presentation. We left wanting to tell everyone how great it is!

The staff go out of their way to make sure you want for nothing. And are always very pheasent. I think dolce vita has been there for over 25 years and has always been run, managed and owned by mario and his family! They have also opened a bar just up the road called bar mio. A truly unforgettable night.
