Their vegetable fried rice is delicious. Maicee Express is a takeaway with a few solid wood tables in case you want to eat in. You can watch the food being cooked which is fun. The portions are good and it's like restaurant food at slightly higher than standard takeaway prices. It opens at 4pm on weekends. Wish it opened earlier, I'd eat lunch there regularly. Nice friendly people too.

I dined at Fraiche last week for the first time and was impressed by the discreet interior, the knowledgeable service and impeccable food - all what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant, without the pomp.We savoured eight delicious courses, each filled with surprises and flavours that made this a truly pleasurable dining experience. The cheese selection at the end of the meal is something to behold. The three month waiting list to dine at Fraiche is justified, we have booked at once to go back - truly sensational.

I ate here with my sister over the Christmas break, we loved it! Since we have booked for a family occasion and I have also booked another meal with a friend. Food was fabulous. Staff were lovely. Toilets were very clean and tidy and the overall restaurant was fab.Best in Crosby and surrounding area!*****HIGHLY recommended *****

Very tasty food and lovely staff - only issue for me is how hot it gets in there as it is very small. Get a seat by the door! Lovely all round though.

We went to Nicolas the Friday before Christmas. Although they were very busy with large parties, we had excellent, attentive service, fantastic food with large portion sizes, and all in a lively pleasant atmosphere. The bar area has large comfy sofas to relax and chat before or after your meal. Thank you Nicolas, a lovely evening.

Hi i visited viva brazil for a meal and a couple of drinks and i thought the food was lovely.

My family were very disappointed with this place. It was very cold inside and also we had to wait for a very long time for our meal to arrive. Staff were non existent. We will not go here again.

Saturday 28-1-12 had lovely mail with my daughter , the staff were wonderful and the Michael buble was just as good as the real thing wonderful night thank you

0/10! Absolutely awful! We went on a groupon offer that included a starter, 'Hot Rock Buddy System' and a drink each. When we arrived we were ignored for about 15 minutes before someone decided to show us to our table, our original table wasn't ready so they sat us next to the bar on a table with a wipe clean plastic table cloth. We then ordered our food and had to wait at least 45 minutes for the starter to come, when it did come it was nothing to write home about at all. Then we waited a further 45 minutes for out Hot Rock to come. I had to complain about the portion sizes as soon as it came, there were three of us and they had brought a tiny bowl of chips, a tiny bowl of salad, 2 small pieces of chicken, 2 small pieces of what they called fillet steak (more like stewing steak) a few prawns and 2 asparagus spears! They brought a bit more food, but I still thought it was a bit short. This is advertised at being 440 degrees. it wasn't even hot enough to cook the prawns! We sat looking at the food waiting for it to cook and it never did. So once again I had to complain. They offered us any meal off the a la carte menu, so we all chose and expected the food to come quickly seeing as we'd been messed about. We waited another 30 minutes and after the food still hadn't arrived we paid for our drinks and left. The people on the table next to us didn't even get given a Hot Rock, they we're just told to choose something else off the menu. As we we're leaving they gave us our vouchers back to go back free of charge but we won't be returning. We travelled over an hour to try it out and was very disapointed. The restaurant wasn't too clean either and they had a child running around in the kitchen. Stay away.

I'd heard great reviews about this restaurant so booked A table for 10 people for my boyfriends birthday. To be fair the food was extremely good, no complaints there, but the service was not at all what you would expect from from a top restaurant... We had to wait a long time for our drinks and when they did eventually come our table was left cluttered with empty glasses. Also when we had finished our food we were left with empty plates which after a while we began to pile up ourselves. When I told the waiter we only had half of our drinks order he did not apologise and was very blunt. We had to ask for the desert menu and in the end we didn't bother as it took that long to place our order. I was embarrassed as my guest were visiting from out of town and I wanted to treat them to a very special night out in liverpool....Unfortunately they did not get that here... Very disappointing...

Fab place to grab a bite! Lovely owners friendly waitress' fresh food every day with a specials menu that's different each time I've visited! Will return again and again. i particularly love the jackets, fishcakes and their milkshakes are a must!!

First visit to Kerala Kitchen, definitely not the last. Fantastic food, very different from the usual Indian, delicious!! Can't wait for next visit. Prices very reasonable and service excellent.

WOW! THIS REALLY IS A GREAT PLACE. SET IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS. LOTS ON THE MENU. MY FAVOURITE IS THE HOME BAKED MINCED BEEF N ONION PIE. BRINGS BACK MEMORIES . ALSO FRIENDLY AND CLEAN RIGHTLY DESERVES IT'S 5 STARS FROM THE HEALTH, WHICH IS PROUDLY ON THE DOOR. WELL DONE SETTLE FAMILY

What happened to GBK? Went the other night, was a menu change so no puy lentil burgers which was disappointing but the staff attitude was poor. Waitress who greeted us and showed to the table was friendly enough, few people in there (not usual) ordered halloumi, ok didn't have any but we didn't need a curt - no- from the guy. Said thank you and left - £40 worth of menu ordering gone

Cafe rouge does it again! Fitted in a meal before a cinema visit and the food was beautiful and the staff fantastic, friendly, respectful, just the right amount of attention. Both vegetarian meals were fantastic, so fresh and tasty. My friend had a twice baked souffle with cheese in which was a tad rich for me due to my low cheese tolerance but I agreed on having the compulsory tasting session with her, so light and perfectly cooked. My blanquette was delicate and full of fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables and the side salad was garden fresh. The large glass of house rose as recommended was just right. No popcorn and large drink for us after. 10/10 to you
