I love the Taj Mahal. The food is always fantastic and the service excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful eating in or taking away.

Taj Mahal – WaterlooExcellent food here!
Beijing Chinese Restaurant – PrescotService here knocks the socks of other places as does the food. I had Coconut Cous cous with bacon & leek and it blew my head away. Side salad was well dressed in a superb quality olive where other restaurants tend to skip. Main course was perfect which was a Jamaican oven roasted Red Snapper with an avocado dressing. It was cooked perfectly while my wife feasted on venison with orange zest and chick pea. I am definitely returning and I suppose that is the highest recommendation anyone can give any place.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThe interior design of Chung Ku is certainly eye pleasing, with its ship's bow its main focal point. The Chung Ku is most certainly an attractive restaurant to visit and has a unique interior design to enjoy whilst dining. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was lively with many birthday groups in celebration. Space is at a premium and we were seated at a close proximity to fellow diners, not an ideal seating plan for diners who may want to enjoy a quiet evening meal. The food in most parts was good but fell short of being excellent. The char sui in our fried dishes differed in quality to my main meat dish which I have to say was very tasty and tasted as if was freshly roasted on our date of dining. My boyfriend was slightly disappointed after hearing rave reviews from friends and has vowed to only dine at our usual haunts which are the Shanghai Palace and the Tai Pan in the future. The most pleasing aspect from our visit was the at tentative service from the waitresses. Undoubtedly, the Chung Ku provides the ideal service for its customers, we were never rushed, treated with respect and genuine warmth from the staff. If there was ever a North West league table for service alone then Chung Ku would be its leader by a long stretch. Food wise I am willing to give the Chung Ku another opportunity to live up to its reputation for its excellence in Chinese cuisine. So prove my boyfriend wrong and deliver the food I know Chung Ku is capable of!
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreOne of the best local restaurants in Liverpool. Have to say don't be fooled by the small bistro look, the steaks are the best cooked just the way you want it. Lots of regulars - says something about the place doesn't it. The sticky toffee pudding is just the best. Have tried so many sticky toffee puddings just to see if I can find same or better one...... not a chance. me fella had a chocolate pudding which served warm - it just melts in your mouth. its been a while since we've been back. when ever I? in Liverpool I?l be taking a trip down to Paul? place.
Pauls Place – Mossley HillJust been there this afternoon after reading the recommendations on this site. Beautiful and healthy food, great service and student-friendly prices. Went with a Cantonese friend who loved it too, can't get better recommendation than that.
Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreWe have visited the St John Restaurant many times and the food is always excellent, staff are always courteous and it is a great base to explore attractions around Liverpool. Highly recommended and well done for offering a free wifi connection.
St John Restaurant at the Sir Thomas Hotel – Liverpool City CentreVery good food and a nice atmosphere would recommend anyone to go there.
Kimos – Liverpool City Centretook my girlfriend for the first time last week an she loved it. i always do. top scran. the steaks are fantastic an you cant beat chunky chips
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensA delightfully smoke free restaurant, not very big so book if you can, the food is excellent and original and the service friendly. If the white chocolate cheesecake, the lemon drizzle cake and the creme brulee with berries are on the menu, bad luck, I would have to have all three.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreTop notch Chinese food in St Helens still going strong. what i would call a 'safe bet' restaurant that i would not hesitate to recommend
Mr Chans – St.HelensUsed to visit this restaurant regular when my mum and dad were alive. Haven't been in years but was not disappointed on my recent visit. We wanted to eat before going to a show, luckily I booked as the place was really busy at 6.00 p.m. As a previous review stated, the menu has never changed. The meals where still of a very high standard, generous portions and cooked to perfection (anybody going...please try the duck for your main course...it melts in your mouth). Really good service and not at all expensive, with lots of nice extra touches, nibbles in the bar area, nice lighting and soft music. I'll definitely be going back.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensI have been at Retsina for the past 5 years and it's has been always a pleasure to dine there. Top Greek food cuisine top service always the same staff and owner. Nice family relaxing restaurant, I recommend it to every one to tray it. Make sure you book your table as it's always full on Friday and Saturday.
Retsina Greek Restaurant – West DerbyBeen here on couple of occasions recently with Mum/hubbie. Both times we had very attentive but not too fussy service. Nice touch with warm bread, great for kids. Nice one
Damons – Mossley HillFantastic food and lots of it, at £3.50 for a carvery in a friendly place world class value
Greenhill Toby Restaurant – Mossley HillI have recently become a regular visitor to Liverpool. I've tried quite a few places in the town centre but have on many occasions opted to return here. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with food to rival London's Brick Lane (very hard to do!!). I would highly recommend anyone pay a visit, especially if you know what you like.
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreNot your average Indian restaurant. Many unusual and tasty choices you don? often find in your average Indian restaurant. Also very good for vegetarians.
