I've been here a few times and I've always loved it (although why the kept the name of an awful mexican on the same site before I've no idea! It kept me off going for ages!) The food is excellent and the service fantastic. I am vegan and they will have no problem altering the meals to suit your dietary requirements. Nothing seems to be too much bother. And the beer and wine list is fantastic, far above the average. For a full meal or just a drink and some starters it never lets you down.

Kimos is an essential Liverpool place to eat. The new buildings fantastic, the foods great and it's so cheap its often the only place I can always afford to go. you have to go

What can I say? My whole family LOVE Kimo's my three little boys all under 8 prefer to go to Kimos's than McDonalds, now that has to be good. The food is gorgeous and Ive tried most things on the menu! I love the new building, I was concerned with the move they may change the menu or the prices but both have thankfully stayed the same. Great food, great price friendly staff, why go anywhere else !

This restaurant is excellent. Dave< Audrey, Leroy and Pepe are very friendly people. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is well presented and plenty of it at very good prices. I recommend the steaks

Unfortunately in the interest of balance i feel i should reveiw this highly recommended restaurant. Having scoured the press and web for a new place to try for my wifes birthday i chanced upon Fraiche, recommended by many. The menu looked expansive and what we would usually look for and the pictures on line showed a lovely dining area. I booked it. The food was great...... the place was pretentious and run like a clinical experiment. Two very young staff ran front of house without a smile between them and announced every part of the meal as though it was an art exhibition. We were even told which way to eat the cheese course and at what point to drink the liqueur served with it! There were only 5 tables in the "front room" eating area and only 3 were occupied incluing us. No ambiance, no convivial, relaxing atmosphere. The food was great tasting but as always in these "art gallery" restaurants 2 scallops cut in half for a starter and similar main courses are just not enough for non-super models. The menu was 3 starters and 3 entrees, 1 of each being a vegetarian option. If you didn't like lamb or monk fish you had to leave. "when does the menu change" we asked in case we dared to return. "when Mark feels like it" was the reply "It might be tuesday....it might not" (Informative) Having eaten expansively around the world and at many "celebrity chef" restaurants it is a shame that an obviously talented chef has got to that point where he is cooking for inspectors and himself rather than his paying guests!

I love going to this restaurant, its the best in waterloo. The staff provide a fantastic service and the atmosphere is calm, pleasant and relaxing. Just what you need when your out with your loved ones!.

We went on a Wednesday night & the place was packed. The food was excellent and the service efficient but not too in your face. looking forward to going again.

What would i do without Kimo's! Excellent quality food at such reasonable prices. Really good size portions and a brilliant selection of food from over the globe. The staff are warm and friendly and tend to remember people when they go back. Would definitely recommend Kimos to anyone!

My all-time favourite veggie/vegan cafe. Great selection of cheap & delicious food including yummy vegan puds.... Totally chilled out by day - u can go in on your own, read a book or paper while u eat lunch and feel completely at ease... by night the candles come out & the atmosphere is fab! I've had every birthday & other significant celebration there for years the food appeals to everyone even the carnivores among my mates, & the byo wine keeps it amazingly cheap! 10/10

I first went to Othello's on my friend, from LIPA, Laura's recommendation. I had never eaten Greek food before but she told me it could not be missed. She was more than right. The meal was amazing and well worth the 30min bus trip out from the city centre. I loved the pink dip called the Taramo something with the soft hot bread. My main meal of Chicken Aphrodite was heaven. I will definitely be back and let my friends know about it. Muchas Gracias Othello's Ana Mata

This restaurant is a little gem! Cosy interior in a good location with friendly, welcoming but non intrusive staff. The Side Door has a lovely warm ambience and the food was delicious. We chose the Theatre Menu which was £16.95 for 3 courses. Quite limited choice of only 3 starters, 3main courses and 3 desserts but that is reflected in the price. The general menu had a lot more choice with main courses about £14+. Good choice of wine. All the customers seemed really pleased to have chosen this restaurant but several couples were turned away as it was full, so definitely best to book in advance. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be going back on a regular basis.

Try the Sakara just once and you to will be singing its praises here! Pleasant air-conditioned surroundings, great food with plenty of variety and flavour, efficient friendly staff not obtrusive but there when you need them, a dedicated chef and plenty of off road parking. Don't go on Tuesdays or Thursdays...that's when we go (wouldn't like the place to get packed out with hungry strangers).

For years Lark Lane has waited for an Indian Restaurant. When one arrives it is absolutely superb. The food is brilliant. They do not rush you out, they just leave you to it. You can stay all night if you want. Excellent Restaurant.

The first time my family had come to Damons weren't the happiest of people. But since then my family came to visit for a birthday and must say amazing the way we were looked after. Our waitress JO was so pleasant and nothing was too much for her to do. During our stay we experienced the sound of the past in which was so good gave the feel of the old days, also a manager had the time to come and say hello checked everything was ok with our meals and service but done it in the way we dint feel bugged. So many thanks to JO who was our waitress and the management team.

I have been a regular at Mr. Chans for the last 16 or 17 years, and can say it just gets better and better every time we visit. Charlie and Loi run the restaurant with a warm and friendly attitude, but being very professional too. We love his sea bass done with ginger and spring onion, and a bottle of N.Z. sauvignon blanc, just heaven. bon appetite!

I'm always afraid that when we go to Lino's - and we've been going there since they opened - that we'd one day be disappointed. Well, it hasn't happened - in fact I'd have to say that we have had superb service and food EVERY time! How they do it is beyond me. The best service in Merseyside, beyond doubt.
