Although the food was very good, the attitude of staff was not as helpful as I would have liked considering high cost of food - more flexibility needed

Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonGreat food, very cheap with big portions
Tess Riley’s – Liverpool City CentreExcellent service with good quality fresh food cooked at your table. A very comfortable and relaxed bar area where you can go following your meal. Overall a wonderful night out
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely superb. The sea bass and swordfish dishes were stupendous. I had mussels to start and my wife had asparagus, both excellent. Beautiful wine and Irish coffees to finish I can? wait to go back.
Piccolino – Liverpool City Centrevery nice place, children very welcome, we have been a few times and will be going back.
Damons – Mossley HillMy partner and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening we had to wait about five weeks for a table but it was worth the wait. This is by far the best restaurant I have eaten at in Liverpool the food was fantastic and is worth the money you pay. You get a lot of food not like some pricey restaurant's the whole dover sole could have served two people. The deserts where delicious make sure you leave some room. The service in this restaurant was also fantastic the staff are very helpful and friendly our water and wine glass never went empty. Would definitely recommend this stylish restaurant.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreA Large group of friends and I dined at Chung Ku for a wedding reception. The service was excellent as was the food; it was very posh but relaxed atmosphere. The bill was expensive and they include their tip in the cost but for a special occasion it? worth it.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreHave been for lunch several times and the tapas takes you back to your hols especially the sardines and the ham. Service couldn't be better and the cheesecake out of this world. Feels more authentic than the other tapas in town, which feels more and more the chain restaurant that it is.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreI live in London and I would consider driving up just to go to this restaurant and not just to see my beloved Reds!
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreExcellent food and good portions, good service and very cheap considering the quality.
Belash – SouthportExcellent fresh food, and excellent service, will definitely go again and recommend to others
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreThe best!
Schmooze Wine Bar and Eatery – Mossley HillYou pay for the entertainment in the price of the meals. The Food is very good and will be eating there again. The service from the waiting staff was good but could have been better. Don? let this put you off though, it? a great night out.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreThe food is cooked in front of you, the chefs entertain you, I would return in a heartbeat. None of the stuffiness of a posh restaurant, yet the place is fab.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWent this Easter weekend and were very impressed, in fact delighted. This is cooking on another level for the price you pay. We both had a starter and main course, both beautifully presented and unequivocally fresh. This is A Class stuff here and we only paid £9.95 for the 2 courses! Don? be fooled by the price this little place is seriously up there and a real (inexpensive) treat, thanks!! AAA++
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreOUTSTANDING IN EVERY DEPARTMENT, NO POINT IN GOING TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT, THIS HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY WANT
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWe had our wedding reception here and had a fantastic time. Great food, service and ambience. Thoroughly recommended and certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreI've been to several Italian restaurants in the city centre over the last few months and this is the first to leave me feeling like I've been on a successful gastronomic adventure. Very good food, priced right and pleasant service. Only down point was the Italian chardonnay (new to me);rather watery and could have been chilled more.
