Childe Of Hale – WooltonSheldrakes is one of those places - guaranteed a very nice meal, nice atmosphere, nice people. Just watch out for the terrible road surface you have to walk down - if your ladies in heels , best to carry her or take 'em off! Taxis can be a nightmare to get there as I experienced. Prices reasonable - for Heswall....
Sheldrakes – HeswallFraiche is not just good; it is simply world class. The food equals the best of Paris, London and New York and it won't be long before Mark Wilkinson has at least one Michelin star. I'm lucky; I live around the corner from Fraiche. It's a restaurant for special occasions - eating there is very special. Clearly it's attracting discerning customers from a wide area; what it needs now is Wirral residents to realise what they've got on their doorsteps.
Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonConsistently excellent food (although has recently gone up in price a little). Fantastic staff and welcoming atmosphere - well worth it for a special night out.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreTried Cloisters after finding it on the Net and was delighted with the place. Previous reviews were spot on and we would recommend it to anyone. Very pleasant and quiet with excellent food. Only disappointment - we could not manage one of their sweets!
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportNice relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and service at an attractive price would be pleased to recommend to anyone.
Casa Italia – SouthportA dismal Friday night tuned into a night to remember for my partner and I. We took advantage of the early doors offer and were treated to an excellent meal presented and served by friendly and happy staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Owens is a warm and inviting restaurant that allows it's diners to be relaxed and comfortable this was our second visit and will not be the last. Keep up the good work Owens
Owens – ChildwallI have been here for birthdays and special occasions the food is great and prices are not to high I would recommend it to anyone.
Weld Blundell Arms – SouthportWe ate the twelve course tasting menu. Very interesting combinations of flavour and texture, all presented with great attention to detail & style. The service was friendly and helpful although an extra pair of hands may be beneficial. It is good to see such a place on Merseyside. A very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.
Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonPrevious review looks a bit suspect. However, I would rate this as the one of, if not the, best Indian restaurants on the Wirral in terms of food. It's not the last word in interior style, but you won't care. It always delivers fantastic food, decent service and all at really good prices. I only wish I lived closer.
Surma Tandoori Restaurant – MoretonHaving eaten in Jade for the last ten years, a few years off, and now tried the other night I have to comment. The food is still very good, but the extension has spoiled the intimate atmosphere it used to have. Service is always good, cost wise it's fairly good value. Compared with some of its Liverpool cousins, I think it could improve a bit.
Jade Garden – HoylakeI love it!!!! Italian food rocks!! Especially from the Casa Italia
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreWithout doubt the best dining experience in Liverpool. Fantastic menu, stunning presentation and quality service. Fish was perfection and white chocolate fondant dessert amazing! Destined for great accolade and recognition without doubt.
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreSeem to want to rush us through our meal even though we had booked 4 weeks in advance. Roof leaked so watch out for this by the window. No distinction smoking and non smoking, they only request you do not smoke, we sat next to smokers so the ambience shall we say was drifting to the smokey side. Food was pretty good I think a little on the pricey side for the standard of food, but they still had some good dishes on offer.
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreThe only weakness is the service..you'll wait and wait for your table.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreThis is probably the best take out restaurant in Liverpool. The food is belting, the service is remarkable the staff are always smiling and so friendly. The food portions are generous. 10 out of 10 all round. You won? be disappointed
Chung Ku – ChildwallA favourite of ours. We like to go for an early supper, when it's always calm and comfortable
Marsh Cat Restaurant – HeswallGreat place to eat when skint... ie students like myself. Cant beat scampi and chips!!!
