I go for lunch every Friday and get egg, chips and bacon. The delicious soup is homemade and served with a generous chunk of good bread and butter. Excellent prices.

Just returned from The Manor full and happy, new menu this week and good to see the lamb shank still there. I opted for the manor mixed grill, it? huge!! My partner went for the fish pie, can? fault it. Friendly efficient service, good atmosphere. 3 courses each and a bottle of wine for under £50.

Three friends and I dine out every Wednesday and have done so for the last 18mths or so. Having exhausted Manchester and Cheshire we have set our sights on Liverpool Jalons being the second restaurant we have visited. On the night we visited there were three birthday parties which made for a busy atmosphere this may have led to our service being initially abrupt but as the night wore on this got better. The food at Jalons is good and very tasty with a menu with nice choices. The ambience is very good and is a place that would be great for a couple and equally as good for a group of friends. The piano singer was great adding to the atmosphere. We rate the restaurants we visit and overall Jalons managed a score of 8 which is very good. I would recommend a visit.

We visited Neighbourhood for an evening meal. The food was home made and extremely tasty. We also found the service to be really friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend a visit. Would like to try out the lunchtime menu in the future!

I have been to Neighbourhood twice now once for lunch and the second was for dinner. I thought the food was superb and the staff where so kind.

Good food, nice views, the restaurant is actually better for ambience upstairs. The tea time special is great value for money, you must try the curry.

After moving recently to the area I decided to explore the local eateries. Blackburne House had a modern feel with a good selection of dishes to offer. I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Having Dined at Estebans on several different occasions & with varying sizes of Parties, I can do nothing but praise the Mouth-Watering Tapas Selection, the friendly, multi-lingual & helpful Staff, not forgetting the chilled/relaxed atmosphere. Estebans isn't just a Restaurant, it's an experience!

For the price this is one of the best restaurants I have visited for sometime. The food and service were excellent and compared to many restaurants in the area it cannot be faulted.

Not the most obvious of locations but very accessible, The Station restaurant provides an intimate and relaxing dining experience. The food is modern European and it has a small but varied wine list (False Bay Shiraz is excellent). Service is always attentive and charming, but to mention again, the food is wonderful. Definitely Wirral's best kept secret.

It was the first time I have visited Oxton, I took five of my friends for a meal at Fraiche Restaurant and was pleasantly surprised, the place is lovely and very welcoming, the service was very attentive to all our needs but not too intrusive, and the food was out of this world. I attempted the taster menu which was ten courses a selection of smaller portions of the menu, I think this was a good idea for me as I always look at someone else? dish and wish I had chose that, the presentation was excellent a lot of attention to detail and the taste felt like I had been whisked of to heaven and back ten times. This will stay in my memory for a long time and I will be returning very soon.

Visited this new restaurant last week with my partner, found the menu very exciting and original surely one to watch out for, already the best I?e tasted in Merseyside, and the tasting menu is just outstanding quality, the wines are also very good value for a fine dining restaurant certainly be returning in the near future.

I took a friend here mainly because I've tried Oxton's other two restaurants and wanted something a bit different... Different is certainly what I got. The food was excellent, and the service fantastic. It's not cheap, but that's a good thing as you pay for quality. The portions appear small at first but I left Fraiche feeling comfortably full and happy, as opposed to the bloated and exhausted which I usually feel when in establishments of a different ilk. Marc Wilkinson (the Chef and proprietor) has created a unique dining environment and I would recommend the food sensations to anyone looking to dine out in style in the North West.
