Oh my GOD! Everything about Chakalaka is amaaaazing! The food, the atmosphere, how friendly the staff are… everything is A+ I had the maize bites for starter, the lamb curry for main and the peppermint tart for dessert and I’ve been thinking about it all day since. Everything was made to perfection and tasted SO good. It’s definitely in my Top 5 means I’ve ever eaten. The staff are lovely and make you feel really welcome and the atmosphere is an absolute vibe! Great prices and a cute location, will definitely be coming back for more!

Venue was chilly sat near the window Food was delicious just a shame white bread with pate and was charged extra for ice cream to go with the toffee pudding wasn't informed it had changed and now ice cream is chargeable Service was superb

The Art of Tea is simply delightful and unique, wonderfully friendly and cosy, somewhere to forget the real world for a while and relax. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. This is our favourite place to eat when we visit Manchester and I can highly recommend it.

Lovely restaurant, great decor and professional, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Heating needs an upgrade for days below freezing as it was cold.

Food was incredible, amazing January offer on of 50% off mains and 2 for 1 on pints of the House Lager. Very lovely staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new and in a cosy place!

I love this restaurant. I love the Indo-Chinese cuisine. I would highly recommend it. I just wish they would start doing Dosa pancakes again.

A belated Xmas meal with my kids, well adults the youngest is 34. That being said, as always a fabulous meal and very warm welcome, I really cannot fault this place and will be back again soon. Grazie mille

This is the 5th time we have had a meal at the Rising Moon. The food has always been excellent. The pub is nicely decorated and the staff always give a warm and friendly welcome. I would highly recommend this establishment

Furst time visiting Chakalakas . We took advantage of the 50% off mains deal and cocktail deals. Food was great , well presented. Cocktails delicious and great price 2 for £10. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was very nice also Would definitely revisit again.

Absolutely gorgeous food! Cosy interior with a good vibe, music was on point, staff are lovely. I had the jerk chicken and curry goat hench box which was a good portion size, really tasty and well seasoned. Dumpling was fresh. Banana fritters were to die for. Will be back!

Wonderful meal for my wife's birthday. Excellent, well presented food and wide choice of wine at reasonable prices. A mix of classics, we had fillet steak, and slightly less obvious, scallops or shin beef taco for starters. Friendly, attentive service and nice convivial atmosphere. Think we'd forgotten just how good this place is. Hopefully be back before too long.

Good food, always enjoy the lamb bunny chow when I come here. Staff friendly and attentive, even as a solo diner in a fairly busy restaurant and enjoyed the experience. Thanks very much
