I have lived in Ancoats for a year and a half and only recently discovered this place! We had monkey gland chicken wings, bunny chow and chicken totostie(I think) for main. Everything was amazing! And to top it off it was 50% off mains and happy hour for drinks so the overall bill was very good value for money! Will definitely return

All of the food and flavors I enjoyed in South Africa served in a great space. Can’t wait to eat there again. They run amazing specials early in the week that make it possible to have a great meal even on a budget so take advantage of those!

Met friends for food which was delicious and well presented .The place had a quirky , warm and cosy atmosphere.Staff were friendly and helpful in answering our questions . We would recommend to meet for drinks or dinner .

Had a really good meal on Sunday evening chosen from the pre theatre menu The prawn cocktail was lovely and fresh with lots of prawns The chicken and mushroom main was very tasty with vegetables that were done to perfection My husband had sirloin steak and that was nice Service excellent The drinks were a bit expensive but then we were in Manchester

Service and food were fabulous. We had steaks (fillet and Rossini) and the chicken Canneloni. All were excellent and big portions.

A lovely local restaurant that serves delicious food in a cosy yet classy atmosphere. I took my family here for a Sunday roast. The staff were friendly, we weren't rushed, and the environment was relaxing. The food was really tasty, with good-sized portions that were just right. Would definitely recommend the roast beef!

6 of us went for breakfast Sunday. Good quality food, all hot and fresh, great selection. Service was very efficient too. Only drawback here is the parking, but nothing really that can be done about that, just need to be aware beforehand

We go to the Prestwich L’Aquila all the time so we were so excited one was opening even closer to us. Amazing as always. Food was delicious, the new restaurant is stunning and the staff were friendly and gave us a fantastic service. We will be definitely going back. Absolutely loved it!

We have become regular customers at the rising moon went yesterday afternoon and has always Food and Staff was FABULOUS.

First time and really enjoyed it! Great food and amazing happy hour. Looking forward to my second trip.
