We booked a table for 2 hoping for a lovely mid-week meal. To say the waiting staff were dis-interested is an understatement. They showed a complete lack of customer service. We were robotically shown to our table, which we then asked to be moved away from a big party, we were offered drinks by a member of staff who never made eye contact once. The pizza was average - the sauce tasted like unseasoned passata , piled high with unseasoned vegetables. To be honest, you can accept below par food around Uppermill if the service and atmosphere is good, but this experience was cold in both temperature and welcome. We're not expecting the red carpet but a warm welcome and a smile go a long way.

First visit to this restaurant and won't be our last. Lovely ambience. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Food very tasty, portion sizes just right. We had a lovely evening.

Lovely food and friendly, welcoming staff. We've been here many times and always enjoy it. Dogs are made welcome and there's even a special menu for them. The pub is lovely with a great atmosphere too.

The Rising Moon gave very good value for money and we all enjoyed our food. The only thing we’d like to see is a bit more choice for vegans. There were only 2 things to choose from on the main menu, and no options in both the sandwich menu and the dessert menu.

We had a lovely meal here, the restaurant was inviting and nice and warm with a great atmosphere. There was a party of 8 and we all enjoyed our meals, a large starter, main meals very good and well presented sweets. Would definitely recommend and an enjoyable night.

Tasty food, lovely staff and great value for money

Food is absolutely Devine, staff so friendly and cheerful. Can’t fault anything, this is our favourite restaurant, see you soon .

Came on a Tuesday afternoon with 2 friend's it was pretty quiet , which is what we like. Service was great. The food was amazing price is ok for current times as food is so expensive this is our second visit within a few months Definitely be returning soon

We have never had a bad meal or service here, the level of service from entering the building to leaving is beyond exceptional. We are always met with a beautiful smile and service is beyond. We have returned a few times now and they have never failed.

Superb meal. House red merlot was very good. Staff are lovely and service was excellent. Beautiful restaurant and Italian background music was beautiful. Highly recommended.
