My wife & I ate here last night for a treat, and can honestly say it was the best meal out we'd had in years. We'd been a couple of times before with family for a meal and had enjoyed it, but opted to go for 3 courses this time and were so impressed. The food was incredible; we both had the fillet steak for our main and agreed that it was the nicest steak we had ever eaten out. The restaurant was busy and all tables were taken, but the service was really swift, and everyone was absolutely lovely. When we got the bill I was actually a bit pleasantly surprised as we'd expected it to come in a lot higher as we had 3 courses with a bottle of wine, so that's another feather in the cap. Would heartily recommend, and will definitely be back again.

We had the chicken pate but the bread u could break ur teeth on..the main was ok but nothing to shout about ....atmosphere was good though ....

Lovely well presented and tasty food. Excellent service as well. We sat outside and were brought cushions and the sun blinds were drawn down. Very considerate for our comfort

For the price we were expecting a much better standard of food and service. It took half an hour between our starter and main course (i think we were forgotten) and the food quality really wasn't worth the price. I've been to many Italian restaurants in Manchester that cost far less that have their own home made pasta, here it was thick, doughy and they hadn't even cooked it correctly it was all stuck together and dry. It's advertised as a pre-theatre restaurant which is why we went, however as the mains took so long I couldn't even send back the poor food as we'd simply run out of time. It was okay, but far overpriced for the standard.

Second time visiting the other day, amazing food as always, big portions and incredible taste. Plenty of cocktails to choose from some you don’t see in other places. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Lovely servers aswell.

We really like this pub but think the food has gone down a bit since its had new owners/management. I was very disappointed when my food came and my chips was frozen chips and not home made as the menu stated

Good atmosphere, staff are always friendly and welcoming, with good knowledge of the menu. Service is fast but not rushed, multiple item dishes are explained, and staff check food is satisfactory. The choice of food is good and quality is excellent- Darren is an excellent chef. The desserts are delicious but the wine selection is the icing on the cake. Marlborough Sauvignon. Need I say more? Give Crowded House a try, you won’t be sorry.

Brilliant restaurant, we had the excellent value early bird menu and the food, service and value for money was outstanding. Will be returning soon.
